Had it for about two weeks (the regular edition because my bf bought it for me) and "I Care" grew on me. "Start Over" and "I Miss You", I can't listen to the whole thing. "Rather Die Young' I skip sometimes. "I Was Here" I love the lyrics because they're perfect for her but I haven't listened to it again. Every other song though I LOOOOOVE cause they all sound so different. I can't even name a favorite they're all five starred.
I rarely comment on videos BUT I must say this album was AMAZING! For beyonce it wasn't her typical type of music I think it shows how she's still evolving and getting better as an artist. 'I was here' is a great song I don't think she meant it as her retiring its more of her wanting people to remember her for her and know that she's made a difference. This is an album that I can listen to completely and love every track even the bonus tracks are amazing. I give it 10 stars.

When I listen to this album from beginning to end, minus them Run the World remixes, I can tolerate Run The World more than I could before. I can listen to that album without skipping a track, even though I sometimes do, but I could really listen to every song. My faves faves are: I Care, I Miss You, Rather Die Young, Love On Top, and Countdown. Dance for You reminds me of something that Destiny's Child would have made. I like it though. But yea, I could also do without I was Here.
I love that album. At first I was not going to buy it because I was not liking those tracks she was releasing. But I had saw that AOL was giving a free listen, so I listened to it, mind you this was at like 9:00 pm. After listening to that free listen I had to hurry up and get to target before they closed. I could not wait till the next day to get that album. I never had a fave Bey album but now I must say I do. "4" is my favorite album. I listen to that album everyday.
Beyonce cd is great.. My favorite song is "rather die young", "Love On Top" and "Countdown". I also love "end the time" i listen to that when i dont have a lot of energy but once i hear that beat i shift gears real quick. I really enjoyed your album review for the most part. However there is one area that I have to speak on. "I Was Here" is by far some of the best music Bey has ever put out. In todays world tomorrow is not promised to anyone so I think it was a great idea to release this song. Like the song says "I Wanna Leave My Footprints In The Sands of Time". This song is so deep and real. Love it as well as the entire album.

to me, i think beyonce's 4 is mariah carey's charmbracelet album, all of beyonces album have been uptempo dance music until 4, which was more ballads and slow tracks, mariah was the same and chrambracet had slow songs in it, but just because her album isnt doing as well as her previous ones, its not the end for her, she will learn from these mistakes

I understand the direction with Bey's album. How people are complaining that there is not enough R&B out there, I think she decided to be more of a risk taker and do slow ballads and give her album an R&B feel. Rumors has it that SWV and Monica are making a comeback. Maybe Brandy might drop an album later this year too. Beyonce's album is good and I respect what she did. I think it's time for something different in music. Please come back R&B!!!!!!!!!!!

to me, i think beyonce's 4 is mariah carey's charmbracelet album, all of beyonces album have been uptempo dance music until 4, which was more ballads and slow tracks, mariah was the same and chrambracet had slow songs in it, but just because her album isnt doing as well as her previous ones, its not the end for her, she will learn from these mistakes

I understand the direction with Bey's album. How people are complaining that there is not enough R&B out there, I think she decided to be more of a risk taker and do slow ballads and give her album an R&B feel. Rumors has it that SWV and Monica are making a comeback. Maybe Brandy might drop an album later this year too. Beyonce's album is good and I respect what she did. I think it's time for something different in music. Please come back R&B!!!!!!!!!!!

I personally love the whole album there's not 1 song on there I'd skip to but my most favorite changes to my mood & right now Countdown is my ish I love that she keeps on surprising others about what she can do! Doesn't surprise me cuz I know she damn good and it gets better everytime! I believe Rihanna could make an album like this will it go platnium or gold don't think so! #4

Rihanna is a beautiful woman, but as it relate to performing on stage and singing live...she hasn't shown me that yet. Beyonce has proven time and time again that she can do it ALL. There is nothing wrong with this album and I can assure you, Beyonce will win more Grammys next year...watch and see. When I Am.. Sasha Fierce came out she already said that she loves making does beautiful ballads and mid tempo songs. @Sims2archive Adele wrote and recorded the songs on 21 back in 2009 when she 21 which is why the album is called 21 and do you honestly think Beyonce could drop a ballad and off the success of that ballad, her album could sell nearly 8 million copies in under 6 months, hell to the naw. 21 is gonna easily top 10 million within the next 1 or 2 and in February for it's 1 year anniversary, it's gonna have sold close to 15 million, more than Beyonce album. Next to Gaga, Adele is Beyonce's competition
