Minas Morgul was the twin city of Minas Tirith, captured during the War of the last alliance by Sauron (I think that's when) and turned into the Witch-Kings fortress.

The Witch-King and his Nazgul buddies definitely did a great job of turning Minas Morgul from a mighty city of Gondor into a sorcerous breeding ground and fortress of evil.

Yep! It actually belonged to Isildur, but Mordor attacked it twice. Gondor reclaimed it the first time but Isildur already left the place, and later on after Sauron's first defeat the Ringwraiths took it and screwed it over big-time.

Heres at tip for taking out the energy sources on this level. Be an archer, u can take them out easilier at long range.
