  • This sun of betch! he *check check check* he trick me! lolol

  • at least teddy has class

  • @Intel21

yeah if he wanted to he could have not paid him and had his bouncer mafia dudes beat hiim up. He's got class.

  • Why is Gramma throwing such a tantrum?? He got his debt back from Worm. Fucking crybaby.

  • It seems to me that the two, Teddy KGB and Mike, are 1-1 when playing each other......KGB beat him in the beginning and Mike beats him in the end......They need to play a tie breaker.

  • @dlk2002 They will, in the sequel probably!

  • @samborlon "Mr. Son of a beech, let's play some carrrrds." lol

  • he called a raise with a queen ten, honey

  • @belialLiar

It's because they're the worst poker players in the world. They can't even spell poker!

  • this movie is based on Norm Macdonalds life

  • This guy is the actor from Ocean's Thirteen.

  • I would've liked to see his face if the board paired on the river...lol

  • @superjeff14 the action is correct. He is first to act and raises from the small blind. Teddy call. Then Damon acts first on the flop. All action is correct

  • @TheBIGchaPOWski Heads up the button is in the small blind normally I'm pretty sure. So Damon is in position.

  • dis son of beach all night chick chick chick

  • he had a set, but didnt play like it . he just dont qualify

  • glad you posted the whole scene

  • Pay the man he money he beaat straeigth up. He is great.

  • i always assumed he had a set of aces and thats why the river set him off.

  • did anyone else notice that in the beginning of the hand he makes the first action (indicating he would be the button) but then for the rest of the betting rounds he acts first?

  • string bet.

  • Why does Grandma care one way or the other?

  • @MonacoBlast - because he doesn't get paid if he doesn't "collect" Mike's debt. No debt, no payment.

  • @MonacoBlast

he cares because if damon loses, some of that money is his.

  • great film, caught it late on tv one night several years ago.I started playing poker the next day, and have been playing regularly ever since.

  • all these years i ask my self what would freddy KGB hand in the last hand=)

no 1 will now 4 sure

  • @ikweetbeter (ik weet het ook beter) . Freeze @2:43 : he was holding pocket 10's, making a set on the flop .

  • so silly

  • in mai clab i'll spleash de pot whenever de faak i pleaz.

  • @Diablo070707 Love it.

  • "pay the man his money"

  • i think KGB got set of tens

  • Teddy KGB string bets at 1:20... what a donk

  • @Santana105

In his club.... he can string beiyet... ahhwwl heeei wantz!!

  • Defenetly A's. He played them the same as he did earlier in the movie.

  • no way AA for teddy.im thinking a set of 7ns or A 10

  • Why couldnt the Ace have helped him? He cant have A10 preflop?

  • Teddy was terrible player.

  • MADDER FAKKER, MADDER FAKKER

  • John Malkovich is the father of Niko Bellic!

  • its a movie idiots..dont bother guessing his hand..you look stupid

  • ALL NIGHT HE CHECK CHECK CHECK CHECK, HE TRAPPED ME!

  • You guys should pause it at 2:04, lol.

  • Let me get this straight... He starts w/ 10k. doubles it=20k. then risks all that and now is @ $40k!? Right?! Now he owes: 10k to the professor=30k. then he owes grammel 25k=15k. Also, he still owes the Chesterfield 2k (but paid 1 off)=14k....

HOW THE #*$K IS HE BACK "EVEN AT 30K!?!?!?" At the end of the film?!?!?

  • @kashmir1977 he turned his 10 grand into a little over 60K

    15- grammel

    6 to chesterfield

    10 to professor = 31k

so he has approx 29-30k left

  • freeze frame 2:44 he had 10 10

(personally i thought he bluffed )

  • @zoharp55 huh?

  • @zoharp55

    Good eye! wow!

  • that was a terrible play. if malkovich's character thought he was on a draw, wtf was he going to call him with? there is no way any good player would go allin with that hand. thats why this movie sucks so bad. its so far from real poker

  • @darklaren hahah ya and no one would ever make the comments matt does when u flop a straight, anyone who makes comments like "i guess ill gamble" or "i wont be able to live with myself if i fold" is trying to hard to act like they are weak, therefore anyone would know he has a strong hand, its deffinatly a stupid final hand.

  • teddy had a set of 10's

  • That was about as exciting as watching slow-drying paint dry.

  • in the DVD extras the pros think he has Aces...but it's irrelevant.

  • 2:43 get it exactly right and you can see TT.

  • Gramma the retard never realizes he should have been happy Mike won. Otherwise, he doesn't get paid.

  • this scene is fucking stupid. I thought poker players were cool. How did he have a even chip count if that's how he's been playing? Retard... Anyway it should have been pocket aces. Or he could have flopped a triple and thought the ace should trap. But judging from how he plays he def doesn't seem smart enough to do that. Or maybe the film makers couldn't think of a good explanation as well so they just didn't reveal his cards

  • @cathey127 How he's been playing? We don't know ,we haven't seen the whole game, heads-up with check-raise he might have played all night and broke even...So the chip count could have been equal...It's pocket 10s because malkovich would have been scared of a set if he had aces

  • @alexjrmarino why should you be scared of a set when the big blind only doubled? how frequent do pocket pairs double? if he had an overpair, the board was pretty good for him. the only possible scare on the board was 89 (which Damon had) and 67, but no reason not to raise with an overpair. the only draws that could have doubled the pot are T9, JT, and 78, and they're all inside draws, not much of a threat. but really, this guy is even a worse sport than phil hellmuth

  • Should've slowrolled the pot splashing Russian

  • Set, Over pair, Or Maybe two pair.. kgb>, he asked if mike was on a draw on the fop..think about it.. and then on the river he says that ace couldnt of helped you.. remenber how he played AA in the beginning of the movie... Why does he "KNOW" that Ace didnt help help Mike?....

  • one guy is playing for his life n so much on the line..u would think they could at least get a dealer

  • teddy had two pair!

  • chek chek chek!

  • fugetaboutit

  • Borrow 10K from your law professor to pay off debt to mob, gamble with it instead like a sick degenerate, get KK on the first hand and get a 3bet. Flop the rainbow nuts with 98 with the turn and river bringing the ultimate polarized bricks. Sick life. Matt didn't even want to stop there, it's KGB that quit. Matt was whiling to keep on gambling with his tuition money, his borrowed money from his prof AND Grame.

What a degenerate! What message the Poker world sending to kids watching this movie!

  • @lookaguru

    WTF?

  • @lookaguru

Would've been great if, after the movie credits, they cut to the REAL ending: On second thought, Teddy decides to take Mike up on his offer to continue playing that night. Things start out great for Mike, but then things suddenly take a turn for the worse. Mike pushes all of his chips in with a full house, but then Teddy calls and turns over QUADS. Then, the next shot... Teddy's goons walk up to Mike in slow motion and grab him by the arms and lift him up out of his chair.

  • How did he turn $10,000 into $60,000? They played $10,000 against each other straight up, and he won it, to get to $20,000. Then they decided to play another round. As Mike says in the movie, having a bigger chip size is hugely advantageous when playing heads up, so no way he lets KGB play $40,000 vs. his $20,000. Is this just an inconsistency?

  • I am Maaaatt Daaaamooon!

  • teddy played it like a set

  • I think at the end Teddy goes into the room to tug one out. That's what I do when I'm feeling down

  • I'm glad how they made the movie where KGB does try to kill him after he loses. They just made him a fair loser.

  • what u think teddy had?

  • @cantfunkit1

Teddy puts Mike on a busted draw.So why does he push allin on river? He had no showdown value. He was on a pure bluff ;)

  • @cantfunkit1 Air

  • @cantfunkit1

    Pocket Aces

  • @salvi1979

thats what i figure he had to because he goes all in after a ace comes up..

  • @cantfunkit1

    yup

  • @cantfunkit1 Pocket Rockets!

  • Trip 7s

  • @cantfunkit1 ace 10 thats why hes so sure the ace didnt help him

  • @cantfunkit1 set of tens.

  • @cantfunkit1 what do u think he had?

  • @OceanSkate401 i think he had trip aces because Teddy was so sure he won when the ace came at the river..

  • @cantfunkit1 incorrect, he was so sure because the ace couldnt help any draw

  • @cantfunkit1 Aces :P

  • @cantfunkit1 pocket jacks

  • @cantfunkit1 I've always thought Aces myself

  • @cantfunkit1 John had pocket 10s... It's the most logical explanation. If he had AA he would be scared of straights and sets on 6-7-10, not the best flop for AA certainly.. so I don't think he would have bet the pot two times before the last Ace comes... and pocket 10s is the 2nd nuts until the Ace comes, which he thinks is a trap, but the trapper gets trapped sometimes :)

  • paaaaay dat maan heees maaaneeeeee. heee bit meee............straaaayt-aaap

  • @cantfunkit1 an erection.

  • @cantfunkit1 Teddy lost again a Straight, so he started betting thinking he had the higer hand, so i will assume he might had the follow hands:

-Pair of six or six and seven, and that will give him two pairs or may be 10 and six or he just made a bad bet.

  • @cantfunkit1 probably A-10 :)

  • @sunnyboy8644 or maybe 10-10..

  • @cantfunkit1 i feel like it implies he might have been slowplaying AA just like he did at the beginning and make trips on the end. Who knows.

  • I think he had an over pair (jacks, queens, kings, or even possibly aces)

  • @cantfunkit1 Judging from his confidence, probably two pair on the flop? Or maybe a set?

  • @cantfunkit1

Set of aces - aces couldnt have helped him- film zooms in on ace, must be trip aces.

  • He had AA. But the River doesnt give him the nuts, so why bet all-in? Its not a bluffing situtation. Silly.

  • @cantfunkit1 probably a set

  • @cantfunkit1 When Teddy moves the chips away from the board to see the straight, I think he slides the deck over his cards and slams them all on the table, then if you pause it at 2:43ish, as two cards fly in front of the man's plaid shirt in the background it appears as if you see a red 10 and a black 10. Anyone else catch that?

  • lol at people saying how bad they played it and giving advice what they would have done different, are you forgetting it was scripted you fucking clowns?

  • Enter your text here.

  • If Damon had bet 3x pre, and Teddy had re-popped him, then Damon had lead out on the flop, and Teddy had smooth called, then Damon had check raised the turn, then Teddy had made a hero fold...then they would have both played the hand well. As it happens, they both played it like chumps.

  • love this movie..i own it..i need it on blu ray tho

  • string bet of the millenium

  • KGB had aces that last hand I believe.

  • BB min raised before SB even called. KGB doesn't 3bet his tens and believe a guy thats says ''I'll gamble'' on a draw for his whole fucking bankroll. Did he think he was leveling or something?

  • Thanks for posting. KGB string bet the whole time, though. Even in his club that ain't allowed.

  • Wonder what the other man had since the ace couldn't have helped him.

  • im still up 20000 grand andf i STIEEECK it in you ;)

  • Not hungry? lolololol

  • Grama: (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

  • "Well you feeling satisfied now Teddy? Because I could go on bustin you up all night." Great line.

  • surely when the guy lifts the table at the end Matts chips should be in one sorry ass mess....

  • Straight and Flush 9-8 of Matt damons nice hands =)

  • And in my cjlub I vill splaash dee pot venever the FAACK I phlease.

  • This movie had my hungry for Oreos lol

  • Grandma's such a retard. That was the only way he was getting paid. I guess he would rather cutt Mike's dick off.

  • wonder what teddy had

  • @Mattj31289 I'm guessing AA because he catches trips on the end.

  • @Mattj31289 I'm guessing AA because he catches trips on the end if he has it and obviously, isn't afraid of the Ace popping up

  • @ireallyamjoeking It's fun to speculate the last hand and with being Teddy so confident at the end with the river Ace, he must had top pair crushed or so it would seem. At the very least, KGB had AK and at the most AA. So anything in between is possible like A10, or even a hand Doyle would be proud of, 10 2!

  • MATT DAMON! (team america voice)

  • I've always wondered why Grandma got mad, he didn't lose shit, he still gets paid in the end, that was the only reason Matt Damon bought in with his whole bank roll.

  • the kids got alligator blood...lol

  • Matt is like, oh shit, I didn't get my ass kicked by these thugs.

  • Enter your text here?

  • trap check is the best move ever, gets so many guys fucked and off their game

  • KGB does two things wrong here, he splashes the pot and string bets.

  • pascual savage. say that is it mother fucker i told you

never slow play with 98 speed pocket 10s i call donkkkkkkkkkk

all innn i flop the nut straight lolllllllllllllllll

  • pascual savage. say thats it mother fucker i told you

never slow play with 98 speed pocket 10s i call donkkkkkkkkkk

all innn i flop the nut straight lolllllllllllllllll

  • Teddy put him on a flush draw, why bet the river at all....

  • @owiseone1 there was no flush draw at all...

  • i think he had pocket aces and that last ace gave him trips thats my guess since he said it couldnt have helped implying he already had 2 of the aces just my thought

  • bad dealing totally see a 2 or 3 of spades when he burns the first card 0:16

  • Malkovich's performance wa amazing.

  • Alot of strings

  • so what did Malkovich (Teddy) have that was so sure of winning?

    two doubles?

  • @Kubrick101Fan Aces up..He called the flop with an Ace high, hit pair or bet ace high. He bet b/c of the check and when he didn't take the pot, he figured trap or draw. Turn bet for info And was relieved when he called, convinced that his straight draw read was correct. When the ace comes, there is no way he can say that the ace didn't help. His read says so, but he can't rule out AA/AK completely unless he had AA himself. AT is my read. I think the last bet was for value. It's his style.

  • @Kubrick101Fan He'd love to have gotten all his shit again with two pair hoping that mike caught an Ace to help out his straight draw. Also a player would raise 2x with a small suited connector in order to build a pot with 450BB behind. So it is likely that he just thought he had a draw and his hand could have been as little as king high....heads up you gotta play like that.

  • @Kubrick101Fan had to be top set, 3 of a kind with 10's

  • At least we got to see Malkovich in a great role without having to listen to that gay lisp of his.

  • Yup Voyu Maat!

  • njet njet no more... not tonite...

dis son o bitch, all died cheik cheik cheik.... he trappp meeh!

  • A good skillful poker player can just get angry and cry now becoz donks are every where. They will call your AK with K9, QQ with Q10, AA with J8 and will win some how. Donks are the poker players now, both online and in live games.

Poker is dead now, once it was all about skills and now its all about luck. So whats the point to play poker now ?

  • @aliabideen as long as there are people like you who think like that, I'll keep making a living playing poker

  • would have sucked if the board paired n he had 10s

  • @nowyano23 I would have found that to be incredibly unlikely and that if he did, he would have still been kind of an cocky idiot for counting on the river or even the turn.

  • thoughts on KGB's hand?

  • @lagundafire He had AA

  • @lagundafire prob 2 pair or a set

  • @lagundafire top set

  • @lagundafire Trip 10's imho, the only hand that he could have been betting.. straight was the only hand to beat him on the flop and the turn!

  • Pay that may-un heees Mon-knee. Classic! Malkovich is an acting genius, and Damon is swiftly becoming one of my all time favorites. I can watch the Bourne movies any time, always good. And Good Will Hunting, are you kidding me? He kills!

  • WTF in a hu game the sb has the button. He raised 2 x and kgb calls. How comes suddently kgb is in position? Critical mistake to make in a poker movie.....

  • @Djbiggie24 hu the dealer is the sb and kgb is the dealer

  • I do believe KGB had a set of 10's but for people that cannot figure out why he was betting like he was, the whole point of this was to show that Damon had KGB rattled by figuring out his tells. They were trying to show that Damon was the REAL poker player and could outlast a guy like KGB. KGB was clearly on tilt and it was just a matter of time. He was also not up against it like Damon was. Damon was playing with money he couldn't afford to lose.

  • @RaffleisRight he had aces

  • Of course he can splash the pot if he wants ! Since he is string betting from the beginning of that game, why not splashing the pot ? I'm always confused when i see such supposed good players as Teddy or Le Chiffre do such mistakes on the river. For instance, i prefer the last hand of a game in the series Supernatural when Sam goes all in on a 44A flop despite his adversary tells him not to. The guy has AA and Sam has 44. That's crazy but, strangely, more credible.

  • His value bet on the river was terrible..

  • 2:41 is the best part.

  • Sairus the damn virus playin poker lol!

  • Malkovich's guide to the Russian accent:

Throw in the letter "y" in every other word.

  • Got tilt? Fuck yeah :D

  • KGB = BIGGEST DONK EVER hes not afraid of check raise?

  • @TheQxn where is the check-raise?

he min-raised preflop and check-called every street after that....

  • And in my club I will splash thaa paat venever the faack I pleasea.

  • sairus the damn virus! Remember him!?

  • isnt that a string bet?
