  • Teehee! I go for Courage realm the most. ^.^

  • sigh, Nobody from Nintendo of Japan ever claimed A Link to the Past came before the NES games. That was all the work of Nintendo of America who for some reason assumed they did. Miyamoto himself the creator as you pointed out directly stated that it was the other way round. That was the only official statement concerning the first four games made by a Japanese person

  • Though it seems clear that the CD-I games such as WoG, FoE and ZA are not canon, some games are still ambiguous. Most people place LoZ, Aol, ALttP, LA, OoT, MM, OoS, OoA, FS, WW, FSA, MC, TP, PH and ST as canon, though the Zelda Game & Watch, not to be confused with the Zelda Game Watch, does fit in the timeline as a sequel to AoL, though its' admission in the canon is debatable. It is a first party nintendo game, but is usually dismissed in most timelines. Any comments on this?

  • i saw that comment on fred, it was really stupid. HAHA

  • @kidsgotgame3 which one? The "good ideas" one? I just want Fred's series to end or for Fred's channel to get removed.

  • handheldgamer144 is such a lancun wannabe

  • @FatPastyWhiteBoy have you seen Nintendo UK's unofficial timeline? it is almost exactly Lancun's except with the first three in the child timeline.

I intend to prove you wrong.

I am a lot morel like trueedge2097 than Lancun. I put words on the screen instead of commentary. And I have not showed any metroid videos or lp's yet. I am merely a nerd/geek/programmer who has never played an n64.

    Shows how much you know.

  • I DIDN"T MAKE THOSE CANON LEVELS UP!!!!!! The games are Japanese, so the japanese text is canon. I am posting videos with translations of TMC, TP, FSA, and TWW by the end of next week. And I also support that all evidence has to come from the games itself. The Miyamoto timeline was revealed to have been mistrnaslated ages ago, It was confirmed by someone who knows a few people at NOA. And there is a canon involving TMC. It precedes FS and FSA. And movie maker sucks.

  • I did not say you made them up. I am just saying that we are arguing about what's canon, when there could be four or more actual timelines that actually make sense, only one of which agrees with the official statements.

    "movie maker sucks"

    no kidding!

  • ...

I still say that the handheld gmes are more entertaining. Also, MM can just be ignored. The speculation of Shade having upgrades from MM is false, and you can see proof in almost any cutscene with shade.

Plus, there are going to be a lot more handheld canon games. Isn't the remake of ALttP for GBA considered the "canon" version? And the remakes of the NES classics?

  • Im heading for "power" since zelda games coming out are not being a sequel to the previous game upon release. On other times they are a sequel to fit the timeline. Another is when a new game is released being a sequel to a game far ahead of another. And upon release they tell of a far older game back in the timeline to be a direct prequel to the newly released game. ingame statements could then provide how accurate statements are so they cant be disproven when they misfit the timeline.

  • Please take all the canon into consideration except for the fourth(and darkest). I'll probably make another video(in iMovie) to prove how there are several timelines for Zelda, not just the one that Miyamoto supposedly had since the beginning.

  • I might make a video response, commenting about is difficult due to space limitations as you see. It would definately help to see several timelines to see what kind of views there are on the timeline. This kind of use for power, courage and wisdom didnt helped much. Though i rely on ingame evidence, official statements just disprove or prove things right way. i'll have to write up my things to say, before saying things right. Then it looks more like i got things all in consideration ready.

  • Originally, I was going to make a vid about how there are multiple timelines possible for the Zelda series if you ignore some of the "canon" stuff, such as if there was just the first three games, it could go 8-bit then ALttP, but once there's OoT, it is OoT-ALttP-8-bit.

Then, my family's mac got reserved for an entire week(by IDIOTS), so I had to use Windows Movie Maker, which I do not recommend. I ended up making a video about what types of "canon" have been considered in different timelines.

  • You could make the vid you were about to make about how there are multiple timelines possible. As the next video then. When you get the mac back. This on the other hand gives you some time to think of everything you have to explain about those timelines, in case it is not fuly prepared.

  • Expect the video on 25 December 2009.
