Im comparing Crystal to Eva Cassidy and paying Crystal a whole lot of compliments when I do this. Eva was unique, she covered a lot of songs, put her signature on it, then made it hers; she owned the songs. To cement the comparison I would like Crystal to do one of the many song Eva made her own (Ex: People Get Ready, Fields of Gold, Autumn Leaves, What A Wonderful World, Over The Rainbow, Danny Boy, Blue Eyes, and my favorite Song Bird).

Her voice is evocative and pure, and there's no doubt she has pure unbridled talent that is something that can't be faked or learned from all the music lessons in the world ... you either have it, or you don't, and Crystal has it, pure and simple. The gritty edge, the soft spots, the lilting timbre of her voice. Pure deliciousness. She is going to sell the sh*t our of her music. Wish the judges would quit treating her like an AI contestant, and more like a raw slice of talent. Fabulous.
