I think Palin was "adopted" by the same Sorelian mythos on behalf of the right, as Obama was on behalf of the left & the "middle." She didn't forge the myth, mind you, & maybe she isn't even aware of it, but she has decided to cash in on it, nevertheless. I don't blame her for that, but I spend a lot of time trying to convince her followers that she is out of her depth. They are largely irrational, but owing to their conservative natures, they will at least listen, unlike her enemies, who won't.
A big part of Palin's popularity comes from the fact that she is so viciously attacked by the left. The attacks are so unwarranted and unfair that it causes one to want to defend her. In the process of defending her, a sort of Florence Nightingale effect occurs. Proof of this can be seen by how the media has turned their focus elsewhere in recent weeks, and Palin's poll numbers have been falling in direct proportion.
She disturbs me for some reason - maybe because of the unknown aspect, but I really hope she stays out of national politics. Now Dr. Paul, on the other hand, he has America's prescription. The question is will he ever get to administer it, or will the patient die before treatment begins...
Every interview she does in which she can't answer a question she blames on the interviewer. Unfortunately I do, the problem is people vote for who is smooth. He is the lesser evils. No one will vote for true conservatives. Just progressives and socialists. Our country is a sad place right now, both sides calling each other Nazi's, when in fact they both use tactics to take away our rights. Most people do not know that since 2005 the government has the rigth to take away your home or business, as long as they can make more money with the new residents. Sad!

I dont know if I'd consider Mitt Romney the lesser of evils. Regardless if the rest of the morons vote for "who is smooth", I stay true to my principles and only vote for people who share my views. I voted 3rd Party in the 2008 election, and I'll do the same in 2012 if the GOP gives us another neo-Con or RINO as a candidate. Hopefully, the Tea Party people and the Ron Paul people will have the backbone to do the same.

Some seem mystified by the hatred directed toward Palin, as if there is no basis for it and its just a media led left-wing gripe. It's got nothing to do with being left-wing or hating her hair, she is dangerously unqualified and would plunge the country and the world into turmoil if she got into power.
Expect to go it alone if you vote another clusterfuck into power. We put up with a hell of a lot under Bush, I dont see that happening again if Palin gets elected. Expect isolationism and war.

Thing that makes me mad is when I speak about Ron Paul, most conservatives like him alot, but they won't vote for him because they believe we have to rule the world, and his nuetrul views with world politics are lagging. Leftist here. I can respect someone like Boehner because, even though he differs from me politically, he's articulate, civilized, and he keeps politics impersonal and decent.
Palin on the other hand is the worst nightmare of anyone on either side of the political spectrum: a wilfully ignorant ideologue who makes no effort to compromise (say what you will about Obama, he's made a real attempt to govern as from the center-left) or reason with the other side.
