I too believe there were people in SL before Wijaya's arrival. The Nation of Sinhalese is the combination of these indigenous tribes and Indian/ Malay / Tamil and Farsi people. There is no hard evidence to suggest that the Ravana or his people were Tamils or anything else. Please provide independent sources to prove your claims (Not Tamilnet/Poothinam or Tamilnation etc).
