Hey I think the noob Stalkers are doing this because they are actually allied with you and by killing the specific guy you killed, you make someone else (maybe another veteran Stalker nearby or whatever) hostile towards you, and the noob Stalkers then come to your help and take a defensive position.

But yeah, the fact that they actually enter a combat stance still shows they are bugged after something else.

OL2 especially rocks. NPCs throwing grenades, healing each other, even looting armor/weapons. Missing monsters readded, and so on.

This game was very buggy when it was released, but it has an absolutely fantastic community that really came together and did something about it.

A couple of quick thoughts.

This is the rookie camp, the NPCs in the camp are nubs by definition. I can pretty much guarantee that you can't walk up to somebody in a group of neutrals ANYWHERE else in the game, kill one, and not wind up with a mess of hostiles on your hands.

Also, based on my experience, you can usually get away with 1 kill in the rookie camp, but 2 will turn everyone hostile.

I love STALKER, especially with OL and similar patches, really makes it into a whole new game.

Oh I get it, you don't know anything about the game, ok. the stalker game world is based on seprate engines giving each AI a kinda life for them. so if you shoot one, then they respond to the shooting and the guys yelp, you know like in a real world. each AI has is run by there own engine as well as the weather, sunset, enviroment, wind..bla, bla,...got to the stalker game web sight and learn more so you can understand it..have fun..

Stalker is one beautiful game, but I have to agree, it's rather buggy one. And I really wish AI were better written, there's lot of small things that break the immersion, like why stalkers are sitting on the rain when there's building right next to them? It's doesn't even look that hard to write, it's just simple "if raining, try to hide somewhere to stay dry"). And similiar stuff. Though to be honest, never seen FPS where AI doesn't suck.

Bloodsuckers show the similar behaviour when you don't enter this specfic point where they just run and go invisible but just when they start rushing towards you they dash somewhere else instead all the time.

Certain conditions have to be met if you trying to recreate the bug. Such as killing of Wolf only during particular quest/mission... Standing at exact spot... etc.

The video however is not about this bug only.

Theres at least 20 bugs shown here. Most of them minor. I already wrote about this too.

Its not about version or "hate". Ive put AI (which is really dumb in S.T.A.L.K.E.R) in a non-standart position. And the way they react to it is speaking for itself. Check the second video for further laughs.

P.S.: For a thousand time... I haven't used any third-party programs (i.e cheats/trainers/whatever)

But i still have hope for it : one way with the GSC who is trying to correct mass bugs, and other way with modders who are so good, i'm pretty sure, they'll manage to make the game exactly as it was intended first (simply look at the A-Life mods, or Faiaikes...its coming)
