  • It is actually scary how many people can't tell when an animal is playing. Neither of them showed any actual aggression or violence. Dogs play like that all the time with other dogs. Cockatoos with other 'toos. They are playing around. It's safe.

  • "Its over Chihuahua, I have the high ground!"

  • LOL! the bird climbed the fucking couch what a champ!

  • "is he bleeding yet?" yeah, you're cool dude.

  • aw he ran into the door but i had to laugh!

  • why r animals so scared of cockatoos lol!

  • Cockatoo sounds like Mothera, so the chihuahua was godzilla? xD

  • FINISH HIM!!

  • at 0:11 doggy CRASH

  • Are they fighting or playing? While I think I see agression neither actually does anything to each other.

  • funniest pART 0:11

  • Lol that cockatoo is all like "GET YO ASS OFF MY COUCH!!!!"

  • I love cockatoos!!!!!!!!

  • hahaha love it!!

  • nice :]

  • this is my grandpas pokemon

  • Cockatoo won :)

  • At over 450 pounds of pressure per square inch, that bird if he catches that dog wil rip his nose or catch the dogs eye in a flash. I know... my bird dammaged a poodles nose. Cost me over a $1000,00 for the vet. Careful... it can happen in a milisecond...!! BANG!!!

  • they play catch

  • lol the dog booked it when the bird screeched

  • well the cockatoo is already for battle with his warrior headress on :D

  • They're well matched; dog saliva/bite vs cockatiel bite/etc.

As long as they're being watched...

  • if the bite won't beat the dog the screach sure will.

  • haha that was funny!!^_^

  • They are almost the same big and I bet cockatoo's bite hurts alot more!

  • It does... Trust me, I have one!

  • Cockatoo probably wins, there bite is extremely strong, Yeow!

  • Tell me about it.

  • @bobje999 yeah a cockatoo can break a broomstick with its beak O.o

  • I think they were talking about the dog getting hurt, lol not the bird. I may be wrong, but from my experience the bird always wins the battle. My dads cockatoo won in a fight against their huge cat and now the cat is deathly afraid of it. Their beak can really hurt u if it tries.

  • Funny, the brid wont get hurt if the dog lands on it. my brid has jumped from my arm and landed on the table, it didnt get hurt.

birds are more tougher then you think

  • A cockatoo would fuck a small dog up,900 pound bitep pressure+The way they grind their beaks sharp as fuck,Dumb dog

  • LOL! 00:12 when he takes himself out on the door!

  • is it bleeding yet lmao

  • LMAO!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! Just like my boys hyped up!

  • I take it you like to see blood. Don't worry, one day your bird will take a big chunk out of you and then your friend could ask again "Is he bleeding yet" So much for having a tame bird.

  • :P total puppy pwnage!

    Is that a Morrocan?

  • that is not a funny video. it is a scarey video.. dangerous for both pets. please be careful with your pets. thank you

  • Either animal would taste delicious should anything happen.

  • Eh cockatoo is only good in stew. The dog on the other hand...... Root for the bird.

  • What worries me in these situations is that something that has happened a thousand times can suddenly go really bad.

A dog bite to a bird can cause a horrible infection (dogs' mouths are loaded with bacteria). One well-placed dog bite could break the bird's neck.

A large parrot's beak is very powerful. It can blind a dog, or cause lethal internal injuries. My cockatoo can reduce a piece of 2 x 4 to splinters in a matter of minutes.

I would never leave these two alone together.

  • (I know its been 8 months since you posted)

From what I've heard, dogs have anti-bacterial saliva. A dogs mouth are generally cleaner then a humans.

However, dog saliva are toxic for birds for some reason. None the less, this isnt a good idea.

  • BerraG, it is a myth that dogs mouths are clean, remember that many dogs eat poop. The naturally occurring bacteria in dogs is not the type to cause infections in humans, thus the myth. I totally agree, during this type of play both animals are at risk, bird bones are light and hollow so they can fly, and easily breck, and anyone with a too knows how they can bite.

  • How stupid are you!!!? do you know all it would take is for your dog to misjudge the jumping and land on your bird and kill it! It may not of happened yet but when the day comes and it does, don't yell at the dog kick yourself in the ass idiot!

  • Wow, you're absolutely correct. Thank you so very much for your eloquent constructive criticism. It has certainly shown me the error of my ways.

  • sorry i just get REALLY upset when animals are in danger. please be careful their life in so fragile

  • Next time a cockatoo slaps you in the face with its wing, you can say again how fragile they are. The dog and the bird are well matched.

  • @sehape911 first of all, a chihuahua simply landing on a 2.5lb cockatoo wouldn't kill it, only possibly injure it. And remember before you go yelling and insulting people the power in the beak of a cockatoo - it could just as easily kill the dog.

  • @sehape911 That dog is probably as big as the cockatoo is. If it was a bigger dog I would be concerned. The dog could land on this bird or even bite it and it would hardly injure it let alone kill. You obviously haven't gotten bit by a cockatoo or seen what big birds can do. I'm more worried about the dog. Those beaks are very very strong. Try thinking before you react or at the very least not jump out an insult people.

  • lol the dog got owned

  • LMAO that dog hit the cage!
