  • sounds like shit anyway!!!!

  • "easy to make a song in probably less of aminute" guy c'mon. If you think that producers use sound clips all the time... you really have a problem.

  • @TAILDILY you don't understand the purpose of this video. He's not saying that ALL PRODUCERS use sound clips all the time, but that Steven Angello DID and got very famous for it. The credit for KNAS should go to the guy that originally made the sample.

  • @chippy922 I did it, but when he said "PRODUCER taake this sound clips... and come up with a son" it really bother me, it is unfair.

  • @TAILDILY stop hating bitch

  • @usasir20 Whatever

  • You made it?? you used samples playing together in Ableton, that is not making music, ur just a "wanna be" producer.

  • @TAILDILY His point is that he grabbed the sample strait from Vengeance's sample packs. Angello didn't create the sound, some audio engineer did and probably got paid close to nothing.

  • But I don't like it when you do it...

  • i have the vengance sounds pack and ive actually have wondered how it would go if i were to do something with that. My whole intake is producers should create very sound in their song from scratch.

  • @NextFantasyRiDe I agree, I think the only sound that they should be allowed to take from other people's work is vocals from another track.

  • nice vid

  • /rage when i heard 3:38

  • New dance music sucks, only classics are worth listening to these days...

  • yeh yeh yeh, you know how to create KNAS, just shut up and take your clothes off.

  • If I did that I'd probably get swatted for EULA..

  • People are only mad because Steve Angello did it first

  • @PhrenchPhilo That's ridiculous and you know it. Musicians aren't jealous that he "thought of it first"; hell, I doubt there even was much thought involved. Rather, they think it's unjust that so many people who invest time and effort in making their music don't get the kind of recognition this guy does. Even the people who originally made the samples he copied are ignored!

  • where i can i find this web site ?

  • cool vid bro, nice job !

  • Your slamming of Steve A is just ignorent. its like saying Public Enemy's work is nothing because they looped James brown, or the entire jungle movement is nothing because they use the amen break. our generations music is based on the creative application of loops and samples for impact. Simplicity, in various forms of electronic music, is sometimes misunderstood as cheating but it is the farthest thing from the truth. the application of loops and samples in a raw form is usually brilliant.

  • @nolamouton No dude. Sampling is great when your final product is something different and new. Steve Angelo finished product is almost an exact copy of the original. One has to be stupid in order to not know the difference. Also, comparing Public enemy or Jungle with steve angelo is just beyond retarded.

  • @lacrahuntington all right shorty 1) i am in no way comparing Steve A to P.E. I have the utmost respect for the entire production team that is/was Public Enemy. They used samples and loops in a way that has not been touched since and probably never will be again. 2) I am stating the fact that to slam someone for the use of a loop for a track is ignorant and not a good argument.

  • the reason the track did so well is probaly due to the fact that the repetitive nature of the track lets novice djs create mashups with ease and little regard to musical structure. Thats my opinion.

  • @nolamouton There is an art to sampling.... this is not sampling. Besides most electronic producers make there own synths. :)

  • @kidkustom I'm actually horrified at the amount of electronic producers who DON'T make their own synth sounds. If it's not using sample packs, it's just "loading the preset".

oh well, people will spend their money where they want to spend it, I guess …

  • @NuclearDuckie Tell me about it, I teach Music Tech to complete beginers, and what you see in this video is what I basically have the students doing in their first lesson. It's kinda sad really.

  • u are wearing that cap as an idiot

  • All you ppl are haters!! he thought of the song so good luck to him!!

  • The rompler Nexus have the same sounddesigners/producers who makes Vengeance Samples. Their names are Manuel Reuter and Manuel Schleis, in groups Spencer & Hill and RIO Manuel Reuter was one of the producer in Cascada and his solo project Manian. They have really made it easy for producers and yet they dont get any credit... Alesso - Calling leadsynth is almost pure nexus, also Avicii uses Nexus for his lead n pianos... Yet they are still good producers and deserve respect.

  • @ultran84 And that was only a couple of producers but there are MANY more!

  • @ultran84 i never knew that and i was always a fam of s&h

  • timofey posted this 2 years ago.....

  • "you can make it in 1 min..." well maybe u can reproduce it in 1 min after u heard it...

  • @Latszee your stupid.. try producing yourself and youll see how pathetic KNAS is

  • @Latszee Whoops. Sorry, we must have forgotten to accommodate the time for all the HARD WORK spent picking out those sample loops and MUSICAL TALENT in arranging them to a four-by-four beat.

It woulda taken 15 minutes, tops.

  • @Latszee HAHA, you've got to be kidding me….

  • @Latszee he's right dude, it took absolutely NO skill to make this track. It's super lame that he just threw in a couple samples and it was done. there's no original pieces to the track!

  • so why no one created this before steve? becouse he is geniuss and you not, he used this sample perfectly, you think this idea came in 1 minute?

  • @Gytis007

    Are you a producer? No.

Do the vast majority of producers sit there and brainstorm ideas? No.

Do you have an actual clue what the fuck you're on about? No.

Steve Angello is far, far from a genius. If he cheats his way around DJ'ing, I can sure as hell tell you now that he doesn't make his own synth patches, most likely uses pre-recorded loops rather than making his own and above all, he still manages to make some cheesy fucking bullshit.

Get a grip, listen to some real house music

  • @Gytis007 yes, this definatly came in one minuet.

  • when i came to this video i thought the only thing he did was not mix live...now that ive seen this video i laugh at him even more...he doesn't even produce all his tracks live? bahahaha what a joke

  • the samles are royaty free meaning they can be used for commercial use for free now i say he just capitialized off the samples and loops theres alot of big name and up and coming producers that use samples and loops it how you use and manipulate the sample is what matters electro house is a super sampled and loops genre but i say if your using the loops and sample that are the construction kit then stop being lazy and produce theres a difference with producing and beatmeaking

  • Finally someone understands... Now share this

  • he did it you didn't shut up

  • @HighlyIsnae999 you're completely missing the point..

  • @HighlyIsnae999 cmon now.....you cant just steal the work from a group company like Mutekki Media and make millions...the sounds are to chopped and sampled, not to be literally plonked in and made in 2 minutes!! if that was the case those sample dvd's wouldnt last 5 minutes because every house producer would of rinsed every original loop!! its not fair on Mutekki Media or the people who buy their dvd's!!

  • @HighlyIsnae999 im glad i didnt

  • the fun thing is that vengeance takes samples from famous producers and others! so maybe steve made it first and then vengeance sampled it

  • @ZarataOfficial maybe so :)

  • why explain why people hate Steve Angello? you are just sounding a bit concieted and you dont need to, personally I have no interest in Swedish house mafia at all but for a dj to play at a gig that was rammed full of fans and play a pre-recorded set is unforgiveable. shame on him. and if you think that this will exonerate him then shame on you.....stick to making your music as you appear to know what you are doing but these superstar djs reap what they sow.

  • OMG!!!

  • guys. stop fucking hating. he has made alot of good songs himself. samples are made to be used, and when you buy the vengence sample pack, you get the rights to use it in songs. also, the guy that made all the samples does get credit, and he gets paid the money that you use to buy it. steve angello is famous, and he has only used one sample for his songs. two of the most famous djs ever, daft punk, have used samples for AT LEAST 7 of their songs just like angello did. so just shut the fuck up!

  • Yeah it was a dicky thing to do , but if it was so easy why didn't we do it first lol

  • @belfasthyde it shouldn't have been allowed to get big in the first place.

  • Reproducing a song is of crouse something different then thinking it up. Like your tutorial tough.

  • To the people hating if you actually spend time making music instead of breaking down and hating someone else you would be somewhere .. like katt williams says "You need haters to make you stronger…without haters most people wouldn't try to become better"

  • @Togniaka you basically need money to make money which..

  • @DJManosLocas - and that is a truth.they have money and they can play mixed cd as Angelo at Dance Valley and still be the best. Poor truth

  • WHO R U UGLY FREAK!?

  • ok so who gives a crap if this song only takes 2 mins to create, it was obviously #1 on beatport for a reason so theres no need to bullshit that he's a sellout. fuck i swear some people are stupid and all they do is hate like the douche who made this video.

  • @6Javend Your the dousch. He's just explaining to people like me who didnt understand. You dumb fuck.

  • @Eoinzero if you didn't understand then you're the dumbfuck. honestly, if all he wanted to do was explain, this video wouldn't have taken 8 minutes

  • Nice work on the video. You don't need to be so nice to this fake-ass DJ, he's just another teen-pop douchebag cashing in on commercial "rave" popularity.

  • Those people who talk shit about steve angello are stupid. so cause he use that one beat hes a sell out? what about his other songs? Ever mention those.. .I dont think so. Ya just need to shut up and respect the man. You still pay money to go see him, so why do ya complain?

  • @XxXNyMpHoXxX equate it to premade brush strokes and whatever else you need to make a painting and make money off it. it will all make sense.

  • You know what i think man? :D Dont hate the playa hate the game...

  • the word knas is swedish. It's when something is "wack" or "fucked". Which is ironic since he literary became fucked by the track knas. I myself is a producer and don't judge angello for what he did, someone else would've done it and probably has already anyway. He just managed to put it out there fast enough.

  • Interesting... How the program you use is called?

  • @Jooohnny69 ableton live,

  • If Knas puts up with the best producers that is really sad. You saw what it takes to produce that track.

Not saying that he isn't talented, but Knas, please! (and... wtf, >The Moment bad ass track and his lame edit with a few extra snares gets all the attention...)

  • @BacAArdilicious you misread what i wrote. i said he has proved himself in OTHER ways OTHER than knas. meaning he has produced so many other tracks with SHM and by himself that blow others out of the water.

  • @aguafiesta69 yeh hes done other tracks, you cant really use the SHM thing in his defence though because that is a collaboration, i mean in the movie take one, it seemed axwell and ingrosso did most of the work coming up with one, while steve angello just smoked cigarettes and drank coffee, dont get me wrong i am a BIG steve angello and SHM fan but after seeing this vid and the one with the faking the dj set, angello is set to put up with ALOT of shit for the rest of his career

  • steve angello has proved himself in other ways other than Knas that puts up with some of the best producers. I don't get what all this hate is about. Even if he got the sounds from a site, it took some thinking/personal talent to come up with a simple, effective song like Knas.

I would like any of these haters to try and come up with something along those lines.
