If anyone wants free custom LIVE drum samples played by me let me know. I'm a professional drummer who makes loops and sample for dubstep and drum&bass ect. So check my channel and message me for an inquiry.
Any top producer that claim they don't use samples is lying. Most ya'll don't want to part with cash that's the problem. I bet you got folders on your harddrives full of samples you downloaded somewhere. The are to using samples is laying to produce unique sounding elements. Sample CDs for kicks, hats, precussions etc is totally acceptable and normal. Unless you own a drum kit, and loads of precussions, you DO and WILL use samples. Stop winging. Go back to your weak free samples.
@GV1UK I'm actually proud to say the only samples I use are for drums, which is actually what i'm looking for right now. If you don't have the creativity to at least make your own sound I don't think you should consider yourself a producer at all.
LOL at all the sample snobs. Electronic music all sounds the same anyway, and dubstep DEFINITELY all sounds the same (so do psytrance, hardcore, etc).
Besides, bottom line is that you'll all always be secondary to people who can make music with their own two hands.
I mean, seriously- you talk about "real" music, but the MACHINE makes yours! Where are you when the power goes out? NOWHERE.
I can make music with samples, original patches, REAL instruments, and my own voice- one or all.. :)
I don't see why people say this is a scam? Obviously using loops isn't the way forward in making music but the good things about stuff like this is all the one shot samples you get, and if your finding it hard to get samples for drums then it's worth it to be honest. :3
IF YOUR INTO THE DIRTIER & FILTHIER DUBSTEP THEN CHECK OUT SUBSPECTRUM! BE SURE TO LISTEN TO THEIR NEW TRACK "LEMONADE" IF YOUR ALSO INTO DRUMSTEP! HAPPY DUBSTEPING....
also.... the sound fx are good in the pack and can really help if u need an uplift.
the real let down about this pack are the basslines..... theyve basically used all the best basslines in the pack on this demo. and yes u can edit the sounds, but u wil get bored of using the same 4 sample bass's .
overall i rate it 3.5/5 product. but , it has helped me nonetheless. any improvements? well i think there should be more bass samples or perhaps construction kits?
right il give a reveiw of this product since i own a copy.
i actually found this good my knowledge, lookin at the rex loops in dr rex player and i managed to see how they constructed drum loops, the drum samples are pretty decent, and sum nice chords and blips, the quality of the sounds are also good, i found this pack aminly useful for the drum loops . the bad side about the drums are that there isnt nothing overly special, u can download free samples + get results. but are still veryuseful
I bought it, just lame. You can do Caspa-or-Rusko-like dubstep with that, that's all. yay. I'm an amateur dubstep producer, I've been practicing dubstep production for months and I was looking for new dubstep samples. I see this, the ULTIMATE DUBSTEP PRODUCTION SAMPLE PACK SO TERRIFICLY AMAZING and it's completely awful.
The pack is absolutely unorganized, the samples don't have names but numbers, there are only 4 wobbles (really really lame ones) and they're all nearly the same.
Does anyone have this, that can give an actual view, not one that you should or shouldnt use samples. And for those who say sample packs are for noobs, say that to Benga one of the founders of dubstep because in a vid he posted he states he doesnt sample much, he uses a lot of packs.
@mcvaney71 Sample packs aren't for noobs. Just don't use them as they are. Modify them to get personnal sounds. If you wan't to do filthy dubstep, don't try this pack. I've got it, it's really but really awful.
your a fucking cunt faggot if you buy samples because honestly your a pussy if you cant make your own shit, so if you buy these samples you better go fucking kill yourself and choke on a dick
Can anyone who has this tell me how they feel about this, not how they feel about samples in general. I mainly want this for the hits not the loops or melodies, It sounds very good and just want to know the strenghts and weaknesses
yeah packs need to be drums and vocals not melodies or loops because what if i use this then what happens when i release an album and 40 other albums sounds pretty much the same
listen to alot of rusko's pre-fame dubstep. He pretty musch used a drum loop and just built onto it. melodies ill agree in most sample packs just sound really cheesy. but then again ,good cheese goes with great wine. Its all based on consumer crap
I dont agree. Maybe specify what type of sample packs. creativity lies in your knowledge of software/hardware, enough to where you can make the sample pack sound totally different from the original sound
well for drumz in this case i think samples are quite good, not loops but just samples to make your own beat. For melodies and stuff nothing is better than those vst's
use samples for drums and sequence them, if ur lookin for hard basslines, well depends on software u use. if ur usin lke fruity, acid, cubase etc.., id say either use albino or massive . for reason, use the subtrackor, , skream 4 dist, and see the outcome. i found they work great for me
Get Audiorealism ADM Drum machine VST. ITs the best VST drummachine in my opinion, it lets you load drum kit one shots into the banks. Check it out on youtube.
Everyone uses samples, bengas tunes are mostly created from sample packs. Yeh learning synths is great but wat about sound fx, beats, vocals, chord stabs, might as well just use fat 'out the box' sounds. Using samples is a part of making modern dance music, no scam....and how are the sounds you can ake yourself better
the point of making using is actually ... creating it Who can give credit to people that just put together some pre made loops without any creation from them at all ?
@SouthCoastConnection Don't hate so much, it's bad for your health, just because you can't make beats. I didn't use any other sample than the voice ones. If you can't recognize the Massive and Albino touch, that's your problem.
My beats may be "weaker" (wtf is that supposed to mean ?") than the samples here, but at least i'm not selling them. I only do that for fun. You, sir, fail
@G0odf3lla Who said anything about using samples for every part of a tune??.I disagreed with your comment because this pack comes with beats, drum loops, 1 shots....which unless you record your own drums (highly unlikely) you would need to use. I dont think your quite understanding or grasping my points, because you are talking about something you know not a thing about
@SouthCoastConnection Give up dude. You are always saying one thing then another. We were talking about using VST's like albino or Massive, and not using those pre made samples ,remember ? Do you think you can make drums using those vst's ? Clearly you have no clue when it comes to beats making, so I suggest you just shut the fuck up.
@G0odf3lla I actually made this sample pack , and made it all with vsts and hardware. So how do i not know how to make beats, seeing as i do it for a job....idiot
enit make your own sounds like me but to be fair it is a really good pack saves time n n you can just chop the fuck out of the sounds all gravy but can make shit producers sound good lol
Are all of theses sounds made in actuall programs like reson, cubase etc?
by the way it kinda like cheating lol because like people who buys it haven't made theses great sounds, and people rep them cuz they fink they make the sounds :p
yes i agree with you.. thats why these kind of packs are NOT FOR EVERYONE....
They dont just contain loops either, there are original one shots, stabs, samples etc in different formats, so can create your own sound just as you would when using for example reason and its sounds..
But Tell that to the Hip Hop community who have been using samples creatively for decades.. Use it like an instrument. Its not about blately sampling a loop or riff. If you can get some inspiration from a sound or a loop, or even a vocal to create something else original, then theres nothing wrong with that..
If your're creative, and you use sample packs as a guide or inspiration, then you'll definelty come up with something original. for sure....
@xMADEINNZ18x I'd disagree and say that it probably is...
i use drum on-shot samples myself, mainly because i don't have the facility to mic up 100 different drum kits to get the sound I want, but i take those drum hits and sculpt them in with multiple others to make a kick or snare of my own creation which fits my track. so i understand the use of drum samples, but bass samples are really lazy. synthesis is the thing that makes a dubstep artist individual. dont see the point in sampling basses
I agree. Even DJ's can use these samples as a platform for their mixes. Pair it up with Serato Scratch, like the video says you'll tear up all the clubs.
