It's similar to when you were 12 and old people would show how blatantly out of touch they were with your maturity by baby talking to you - -maybe this happened to you, i don't know, but it sure annoyed me when i was younger.

Thanks for mentioning the important of lining up the reference point of the shape being tweened with the beginning and end of the line. Starting with a straight line made following along easier and obviously helpful.

I used the Add Anchor Point (Pen) Tool to add points (=) and the Convert Anchor Point Tool (C) in conjunction with the [SHIFT] key to smooth out sharp corners.

i have a question: Naturally it's not logical to display the guide... how do you make the guide invsible, since its not a movieclip you can't change its alpha.

Though the actual guide itself should be invisible anyways when you actually preview the animation.
