@nikolozsamxaradze what's the problem with installation? maybe you'll find the solution in ArchiCADwiki InstallProblems article: archicadwiki/ArchiCAD15/InstallProblems
it's not horribly difficult to do more custom stuff like this... you just have to have a clear 'game plan' and be very systematic about it... nice to see that it's possible to have these tools in the main programme and not be stuck in GDL... you could really do pretty much ALL this stuff in GDL even 20 years ago.. but it really wasn't as much fun as this looks...
@reshbeez in this case it's just set as a custom material using the floorplan as an image. But you can actually superimpose it...read this ArchiCADWiki article: archicadwiki/HowToSuperimpose2dFloorPlanOnto3dModel
This is awesome! It's truly amazing to see what the new ArchiCAD 15 tools can be used to achieve. And I'm sure it didn't take 300 years to model (like the actual cathedral took to be built...)!
A tutorial on the modeling process used to create the Wells Cathedral in ArchiCAD is a great idea. It would best be done by the same people who modeled this building.
However, if they gave me a copy of the model file, I'd use it as a teaching example, and create some free tutorial videos based on the processes they use so powerfully and elegantly.
