  • I WANT THIS. HOW DID YOU DO IT????

  • @kay188 I have the write up DIY instructions at e46fanatics web forum and bimmerfest. Use google to find it.

  • @olaf2046 I found it shortly after watching your video. I'm going to do this soon... but I can't find the face plate at all on ebay.

  • I’m happy with my 328i, but the only performance mods are sport suspection and the Signature Motoring performance intake for about $150. Signature Motoring kit adds around 11HP on the dyno, great sound, and the best performance upgrade for the money. See my channel videos!

    -Adds 9-11 HP

-Never replace filter again (uses K&N filter)

    -GREAT SOUND

-Installs in maybe 30-45 min. K&N filter lasts a lifetime.

I'm thinking maybe performance exhaust, but eh.

  • you need to have rear foglights fitted on european cars and you can either have one or two it does not matter, I have a mk2 renault clio and it has two, my Mum's nissan Micra mk 2 has only one, the light ont the opposite side is the reversing light. If you have one it must be centre to the drivers side and as I live in England it will be on the right as we have rhd cars

  • nice rims

  • Nice OEM diy, my only suggestion is to diactivate the right side to make it legit, only one side of the rear fog should work depending if it's a LHD or RHD.. I also have an E46 here in Cali and has the same oem LKM rear fog set up for the left side. Great job and clean car. Congrats.

  • @bicutankid My imported BMW 525i 2006 had dual fog lights. I live in Cali, and havent had a problem with the law during fog or rain.

  • In Europe only one foglight is legal, left or right depending on LHD/RHD.

In dense fog, 2 bright fogs could be too easily mistaken for a car braking, resulting in a braking reaction from the other driver. This in dense fog, will result in catastophic accidents.

  • @1D0N Really? There are lots of European cars with 2. My dad has a vauxhall Zafira with 2.

  • @1D0N That might be why 3rd brake lights were introduced...

    (Re my last comment)

  • @04smallmj 3rd brakelights were introduced to make absolutely clear someone is actually braking. On most (older) cars, you had no seperate brakelights, but ddual filament bulbs i.e. lights that went brighter when braking. If you didn't take exact notice, you could hardly see that the car had its brakes applied untill he/she let go of the pedal. Very annoying. Ironically, 3rd brakelight were illegal over here up to aprox. 1993.

  • @1D0N They used to be illegal? That's ironic LOL.

  • @1D0N your right as i have a 320i e46 and its RHD and there is only a bulb on the right hand side i have thought about drilling out the mount for the bulb on the left hand side to

  • it's all about the details ;)

    nice

  • Very nice. I just did this on my '04 Hyundai Santa Fe although mine was pretty complex. I'll have to make up a video of mine.
