  • out of F1 Red Bull-money-... !!!!!

  • It's funny the fact that the former Jaguar, crappy car, now it's the Red Bull!! ;D

  • Irvine became vice champion in '99, and wasn't doing a worser job then MSC... You don't know what you say rich1701...

  • @kukkelf1 Yeah but Michael was out with a broken leg missing 6 rounds.

  • jaguar racing basically undid every good thing stewart racing had done the previous season! way too many changes within the team! shame ford pulled the plug on them! shame adrian newey went against his word too! jaguar f1 with newey onboard would have been amazing!

  • ... and Red Bull is a "non"-racing-team with money but with no racing-spirit !!!

  • @X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X They're only winning because of Adrian Newey

  • @blainyrules It's cruel - Schumacher, Irvine and Ferrari worked 5 years to dominate the sport on merit, and had their hard work undone by the FIA messing around with the rules. Red Bull got lucky with the rule change in 2009 shuffling them to the top, they have drivers who were in the right place at the right time (as Button was), dominate away and we're left to watch it as 'entertainment' despite the manipulations and contempt for the 'sport' aspect infavour of mass appeal. F1 lost it's mojo :(

  • Jaguar is now Red Bull ...

  • Jaguar-Racing is the only works-team in Formula 1 I like !!!

I read an interview from 2000 with a jaguar-guy who said: "Jaguar in Formula 1 for ever".

    How great would it be...

  • @starwarstrilogyfan They can even go through the Monaco tunnel now, remember when they used to just give you the drive by shot on a an onboard lap?

  • Jaguar was epic

  • remeber that irvine beat shumacher in 99

  • @QOTSAPT because schumacher had a broken leg

  • @AsiChicky i was trying to hide that fact nontheless eddie irvine was runner up

  • I really like the 1999-2000 era cars. I always thought they were really pure with simple lines and great sounding engines.

  • 1989 to 1992 cars sounded the best with their V12's. The Honda V12 was a beast and sounded the business in 1991 and 1992.

  • @Ferrariman601 i agree 1998-2002/3 were the best cars

  • Eddie was the best teammate for Schummi.

He actually was competitive. But he made the suicide move by joining Jaguar.

  • I think Eddie is actually a very good driver. Remember his years with Ferrari. He really was one of the most improved drivers between 1997-1999. He had actually a very good championship campaing, but I guess Ferrari clearly didn´t want him much to become their first champion since 1979. They didn´t even develop the car between Silverstone and Malaysian GP (except some small aerodynamic updates). Eddie was also very consistent, he retired once this season (due to an engine failure at Imola).

  • irvine don t accept to be a second driver,in ferrari team, respect for him....barichello,massa and manny, accept this, they not deserve our respect...

  • Barrichello and Massa actually beat Schumacher in the same car, Irvine never came close

  • In the very first qualifying session they drove for Ferrari, Eddie already beat Michael! Could still become champion in the last race in '99....For sure Massa, Barrichello and Irvine are very gifted drivers but Michael is from a different level.

  • I'm sorry, explain when Eddie Irvine beat Michael Schumacher on merit? without the aid of having his legs broken?

  • hm Japan 1997???

  • That was a team strategy

  • well I remember this race quite well - and I can tell you that Eddie could have won the race. He passed every car and then dissapeared into the lead. But later in the race he had to slow down, let schumi pass and then block Villeneuve. Without this team job, 1997 Japanese GP could have been Irvine´s first F1 win

  • So do I, It was a team win. Schumacher was fastest on the day with a fastest lap of 1.39.268 compared with Irvine's 1.39.935. Schumacher let him pass for race strategy reasons.

  • @F1xvitaaaFullRaces Ah thats not true. It was strategy. Michael was backing the pack up so Eddie could pull out a lead. How do you think Eddie managed to drive around the outside of the 3rd corner? That move is not possible under normal circumstances. There was no way Eddie would have won that race on pace against Schumacher.

  • @F1xvitaaaFullRaces No. It was strategy. Im sure Eddie himself would admit as much.

  • @rich1701 ,, think thats hard to say because when Irvine was in the team, farrari where always second to Mclaran in the late 90s. The car came easier from 2001 on.

  • @rich1701 Massa never came close to beating him either. Well not without a huge element of luck. Massa won in Turkey because the safety car screwed Michael and in Brazil we all know what michaels problems were. Massa was never close to michael on pace. Rubens was a much better driver.

  • @rich1701 Irvine didn't break his leg tho ;)

  • @rich1701 But Irvine was incredibly amusing off the track and had a Raikkonenesque "good if he wants to be" approach on the track.

  • @rich1701 Lol you didn't even watch F1 in the mid 90's

  • he almost win f1 championship. ferrari spends millions on schumi i cant understend that shit.

  • Ole Eddie workin the fuck outa that car. Now Thats driving

  • i loved the jaguar team...

  • @182DeLongeFAN182

    me too ;D

  • @182DeLongeFAN182 me too, because they were the best looking :)

  • Cool watching him control the car.

  • cool
