  • cool!! brother keep 'it up..

  • you play good.. is that a 12 string guitar or a mexican bajosexto?

  • @JesusVillaChuy Thanks! It's a bajo sexto. Nothing fancy- a Lonestar Victoria, but I really like the way it plays.

  • @batfancy

yea it sounds good man...specially since your outdoors

  • I never stop listining to this.

  • I can never get this song outa my head. Drinkin moonshine with my neighbor Eddy he maked a mean mash. Thnax Tim

  • A most buetiful song Tim. Im so drunk on Moonshine its nearly 4am. Thank you.

  • Thanks for posting. How did Samson Occom help Rev. Wheelock start Dartmouth. This is of interest, as I am related to Rev. Wheelock, and would love to learn more. Blessings this holiday.

  • @TallFeathers He made a tour of England, meeting famous theologians and others and somehow got Lord Dartmouth to give a lot of money to the school (when it was still in CT I think). My memory is a little hazy on the details, but there's a lot about it in Occom's biography (only one as far as I know)...

  • Another excellent video. I love the visual of the cranberry jar at the end.

  • Glorious!

    Thank you from Canada!!

  • I really like this a lot. Thanks for sharing it.

  • Good music, thanks for the upload.

  • This song reminds me of the sea, of ships, and lighthouses, even though it's about something else, luv it, sounds sad, but it's calming.

  • Thanks so much for showing this ^^ made my day

  • Furry on bro...

  • You're suspicions are not unfounded - Love your style.

    Cheers

    Jim

  • Hey Tim,

We had wild cranberries from Pelham Hill! They taste a bit woodier, but so much taster than Ocean Spray (which are pretty damn tasty).

Excellent choice for Advent, and I love the accompaniment.

  • Where did you find them? Probably secret, but I'm curious to know more about where they grow around these parts (bogs and swamps I know, but only a few of them here and there...)

  • Basically up in the conservation area around where Btown becomes Pelham.

  • --oh, never mind about the cranberry question--I see you answer it in the note accompanying the video.

  • yeah- they're just before the big puddle (same spot as the sundews!) on the way up to the summit from the parking spot above Buffam Falls. There's plenty to go around!

  • I **love** this song. It's because of you singing this that I first went to shape-note singing! Glad to see you "reissue" it, so to speak.

Where can we find wild cranberries? (or is it secret?)

  • Cool! See the comment above for the cranberries- I think they'll be good for another couple weeks unless we get a super hard frost- singing tomorrow in Amherst!

  • Can't come today (work -_-) but I've been playing the banjo-and-shape-note videos by banjoape (gorgeous) and singing along. One day I'll make it back to the real-live sings. Enjoy the afternoon!

  • Awesome as ever, keep it up Tim!

  • fantastic keep up the wonderful job

  • This is still one of my favorites from Every Sound Below. "Angels the rapture cannot bear" is such a gorgeous string of poetry.

  • hey jon hey jon! agreed. I also love how the powerlines are radiating from you tim :D
