  • i love this song i even play it :D

  • Okay, thanks for the upload of this not so easily difficult piece of piano work, that captivates us as American peoples, however, it is so carefully put together that this entire work makes sence. I know it is not A Rach 3' or anything , but this is one of those simple croud event gathering lovely songs that even the dull sitter elderly music goer that is sipping his Rum and Coke can enjoy.

  • sounds very classical

  • MAGNIFICENT! (:-0) Songful and soulful....thank you for this post. Always a delight to hear Hungerford's playing!

  • I totally agree with dog6579's observation. Sometimes, prominent players may wish to shwo their wonderful techniques. Yet, this piece is quite different from the piano sonatas of the same composer. Explosive them and sharp contrast may not be relevant for this piece, which Beethoven marked as Moderato with graceful playing. I consider Alfred Brendel's version is more appropriate.

  • Very clean playing but too fast and too little contrast in loudness. That said, I wish that I could play it as well as he does.

  • kreasy

  • a bit too fast...it's supposed to be Moderato e Grazioso...a bit slower, but still, wonderfull performance.

  • @SpadeMaster14 it sounds perfect to me

  • I love this song

    I play this piece too:D

  • good job !

  • I might play this for Solo & Ensemble!

  • no, this is the tempo meant for the piece -

"moderato" - all the performances of this piece are roughly 5 to 1/2 minutes.

  • Who's the pianist?

  • Bruce Hungerford

  • Very good but it is being played far too fast in my opinion...

  • This is the best rondo ever written in the world, surpassing mOZART rondo alla turca.

  • Why compare it with a random piece named "rondo"? Just because it's popular?

People really need to get more insightful and stop comparing "popular tunes"...

There are phenomenally significant Mozart piano works such as Rondo in A minor K511, which greatly influenced Chopin, in the writing of his own Ballade No.4 in F minor, Valse No.3 in A minor. Mozart's new approaches to the genre of solo piano music are usually found in single mvnt works such as fantasies, rondos, rather than sonatas.

  • Yeah....I need to sound like that for my audition for Central next year :P
