ahiri is ma favorite raga....the mood created by this melodious and emotional raga often brings tears, love compassion in me.... the raga has seriously brought many changes in me....made me very emotional and sentimental. and the way mrs. dhanya subramaniam is jst outstanding........i request you, to upload few more keertanas based on this particular raga.
An excellent rendition in a pure classical manner of a very difficult raga. It would be nice if you could sing the last charanam too and upload again....
After D.K.Jayaraman I hear you singing this krithi. I hope you could post Dikshitar`s NavavaraNa kiruthi in Ahiri raga. I endorse the comments of Ashwin. Ahiri is a very ancient raga. There compositions inthis raga in Thirunjjanasampanthar and sundaramurthy Nayanar Thevaram hymns. The ancient name of this raga is Panjamam. Muthukumaraswamy
Very nice, melodious, soothing and well done. Please add more. I like your singing because, there is no accompaniments. So students like me could understand the underlying "swara staanams". And because you sing the trinities' songs, its educative, and natural. Once again, Please add more. My encouragements!!!

when I call out to you mother, why don't you respond?
Don't you see that i'm in pain? Please take it away.

Sung with grace and feeling! Yes, singing without any accompaniment indeed has its place! Super!
