I'm french. When I was little, I listened to this, and even though I understood only a quarter of it, I was wowed everytime I watched it and kept repeating it.

Now, after years of waiting, I still can't make out a couple of words, perhaps you could shed light.. at the end of my tunnel.

1: 0:04 - 360° Stomach "ranging" action?

2: 0:11 - with deadlier enemies "defed" of your power

3: 0:29 - match "with with" robots.. oh wait, isn't he saying "swift"? YES! I have finally figured it out!!! =)))

I remember loading the Descent Definitive collection and this ad always played, and messed up and froze my computer in an endless loop. "deeper into chaos, wit deeper into chaos, wit deeper into chaos, wit deeper into chaos, and so on indefinitely. That loop is one thing I will never be able to forget.

1999: Descent III was the best experience EVER SEEN ON DESCENT SERIES

It had better graphics

2005: Descent IIII USED to be your favorite game ever. And the graphics are barely improved. Yet it took us 6 years to develop it.

2011: NOW in Descent IV, we were so totally bored we just couldn't not release it

Anyone remember playing descent 2 panic add on levels? The first time i played CTF type game. Man, that was awesome.

And you still can not play CTF games like that even today, in glorious 360 movement.

However, Interplay recently started back up, and they are trying to build the Fallout MMORPG and use that money to restart their old franchises, including Descent.

I played all the descents... D1 and 2 were the best in my opinion. D3 just didn't feel right.

Ask your parents for a Dual Jewel copy off amazon. Real cheap, got my copy for $6.00. Works flawlessly :)
