hello, this sounds really good! I just got my mandolin and (I've been playing guitars for 10+ years so,) I can play like folky things fine but I really want to work on my tremolo picking - I don't suppose you have the tab?

You sound really good! I'm going to try to post a version of me playing this soon. I figured it out by ear and play it in a different key than you did here. I don't play it as smooth as you do yet, but I'm working on it. It's a great song to play. You have very fluid pull-offs, which work very effective as a nice ornament.

not long at all. It was fairly easy to figure out. Keeping the tremelo smooth is the hardest part.

im about to go out to buy my first mandolin...any advice on a brand for a beginner?

errr...no brand as such, just figure out what sound you like e.g. Electric/acoustic mandolin, bowlback or flatback (I use a flatback but i also have a bowlback) But all i can say is don't spend under £100 ($200) because to get a nice sound you do need to spend a bit. If you need any tabs or want some advice or questions just drop me an email. :)

Love the new mandolin, Bowl backs are my favourite, That one has a great sound. Nicely played.
