Amazing video. I like this because its not "Here is what you do when you have access to this" guide and you broke down the moves. Being able to read a move ahead of whats happening has always been a weakness of mine but it only took me three attempts after watching this twice to go from dying three times to beating him without dying. I have Narga armor with 80 def per piece with Evade distance plus, Constitution plus 2( or 1 i forgot), and speed sharpening. I also have Hidden saber( Narga longsword) for a weapon. With 912 atk and a little white sharpness, good amount of blue, and etc. Do you or anyone else think this is good enough to take down that tyrant?

Thelordratatosk@ dual swords are good but the attack isn't the best and u have no way to shield ur self. I prefer great sword because u get a great attack and u can guard urself!!!

Hey Vaoris Remember me? I told u 2 make a Rajang guide anyway i killed it from the village quest(Duo Rajang)I used almost full Azure Rathalos Armour(Rare 8)and the legs of azure rathalos Amour(rare 5)I used a hammer to kill them The hammer was called War STamp or War hammer anyway i also killed Akantor just today 3 times.i kind of followed you guild but instead of hittin the legs i hit it's face and my fastest record for killing was 22:34 time left.Btw This walkthrough help So Thanks.Btw 5 Stars

@DeductedZero well if your fighting a red khezu use a water weapon like aqua gaurdian or the upgraded version atlantica and just strike nears it head a few times and do the jump backwards attack if you see it about to electrify it's body and if it does the attack where it does the little lighting balls move to a side before it performs the attack and the attack like crazy and dodge when it is finished you should kill it dead easy with that method because i kill it in about 15 mins

I would, but with Monster Hunter Tri just around the corner I'm not making any walkthroughs until its released. Also, Tigrex GS guides are the most plentiful on Monster Hunter, and I'm not very good with greatswords. Look up naijiao, he probably has the best GS guides right now.

Ah, ignore my previous comment, I didn't see that you were HR 5. Since the main problem is time limit I think you just need to become more aggressive, that is usually the main problem. Take more chances, carry 10 mega potions, 10 honey, and 10 potion (total of 20 megapotions).

If you really wanted to, you could probably switch to stronger weapon class such as hammer for less aggressiveness, or you could switch to a better defending class like a lance to become more aggressive. Your choice.

I need to know exactly what you are having troubles with. Are you having difficulty with a certain wyvern? Do you die in two hits or less? Is your weapon bouncing off all the time? Any insight into whats wrong will be greatly appreciated.

Considering you have decent armor Gypcreos, Basarios, or Khezu would be a good start. Beating them shouldn't be too bad, but gotta start somewhere. From there, Plesioth -> Rathian -> Rathalos -> Dual Basarios -> Dual Gypceros -> Tigrex -> Rajang.

For Akantor, Death Stench because it has a higher Dragon resistance, for everything else Silver Rathalos would be better.
