  • how do u teach sit preety, speak coz u kinda made her growl, and jump, bow

  • How much 4 a trained puppy

  • I have an Australian Shepherd/Spaniel Mix and I trained her at 7 weeks old and she picked up on sit, down, roll over, touch, come, jump, dance, wait, and stay in 4 days! I want to teach her more but I am not sure of a "decent" resource other than the internet.

  • Did that book teach you all of these tricks? and what age did you really start? I don't remember with my dog... :/

  • @frasierfraish The book teaches you how they learn. Once you understand how they learn you just reward actions that you want them to do. I got Aiken when he was 16 weeks old and started training him then.

  • Wow that was amazing. How did you teach him to speak and moan?

  • other paw!

BUT I WANNA USE THIS PAW!

  • serious?

I bought it in the Ebay.

  • awesome

  • awesome job i've got a pointer who would get along with with whatever his/her name is

  • Oh my gosh I wish I had a dog :(

  • wow i wish my dog could atleast sit and stay lol. you make my dog look like an idiot

  • The only problem is when they die...all this work brings extra love for your pet, if one feels terrible when a pet dies, when a pet like this one dies must be 10 times worst.

  • I have thought about that actually. But my friend put it best by saying this, "all the joy and happiness that the dog gives you far out weighs the pain from their death - even if it is very painful." And so far I have had 5 great years with him and wouldn't have it any other way.

  • wow this is how i want my dog trained but my problem is that im not consistent with my training

  • OMG i luvv this dog well i luv all dogs but you have done such a great job trainging him i give this 5 stars :)

  • What an awesome dog:L

must have spent lots of time then ae:L

  • Well done that must take lots of patience

  • excellent job training :)

  • Thank you! :D

  • awsome!

  • I had a black and white Australian shepherd growing up. She was one of the smartest dogs I have ever owned. Your dog is awesome!

  • that is sooo cool!!! what a well behaved dog

  • This dog is very intelligent.

I liked the sit pretty :]

  • Oshiwa, now i know what you were saying lol.. great job

  • nice tricks i can make my dog sit pretty and the i hold a dog biscut abover her and she dances and jumps to grab it

  • awesome dog.. what kind is he?

  • He is an Australian shepherd. It's a type of collie.

  • that is very cool. what a smart dog and so alert. what was the hardest thing for you to teach him? how did u teach him to sit up. i taught my dog but i forgot how and i wanna teach my new one. and bow is very cool too!!

  • I taught him those tricks like 4 years ago so it's hard for me to remember all of them. I remember "down" being very hard until I learned a trick (guide the food in front of the floor while he sits) then it was easy.

To sit up I brought the food right above his nose making him want to stand up a little bit. But the key is just repetition and patience. I also recommend the book Good Owners, Great Dog by Brian Kilcommons

  • how do you teach him to moan??

  • He is already a vocal dog, so whenever he made any kind of noise I would reward him. Once he started making the noise I desired I just reinforced it.

  • ohhhh

so if you had a quiet dog it would be harder, unless you give it something to bark at

  • Awesome dog!

  • Can you get him to fetch you a soda out of the fridge? if you can do that I might be remotely impressed. (haha) :)

  • how do you teach your dog roolover?

  • I held a treat in front of his nose when he was on his back and let him follow it while I said "roll-over"
