I think the AK47 has the ability to be the most rewarding gun in the game if you take the time to actually learn how to shoot it and how to compensate for the recoil on longer shots. Mid range it's BEAST tho.

actually the AK need both kick and stability which is impossible to get unless you're using the specalist. Cause when you get all the perks you get all the proficencies as well.

i think RDS helps greatly with this gun , this is a very good gun you just have have to be able to handle it

The purpose of the AK47 is the all around durability and usage. In all honesty, the AK47 has gotten a lot easier to use in cod then in other games. Most PC games (Crossfire, AVA, Combat Arms) have extremely high recoil on the AK47. In Black Ops (for example), the AK47 is pretty much the best AR.

If you find the accuracy isn't the best, and you can handle recoil.. Use it as a smg and drop shot. :D

The stats on the gun's meen nothing, the AK-47 was the first gun i got the 2500 kills and 500 headshot emblem with, the kick just means if you shoot them in the chest then you get a lot more headshots then any other gun, it's a great gun.

i have a tendency to use silencer and kick, stinger for a secondary, blind eye, assassin, and marksman with specialist killstreaks begging with sleight of hand. I have quite some success with this class, and i can credit my first MOAB to it, and id recommend giving it a try

fairplay to what your saying but ivefinished the Ak-47 ive done the headshots and kills and i bealive that the gun is over powered the kick can be controlled if you no how to use the weapon and the damage seems alot higher than others like the ACR and M4A1

Hey Patchy. You seem to be a gun expert. So how exactly is the AK-47 over exaggerated?? Because it seems to me that the AK-47 and the R700 (from cod4) shoot the same exact round, 7.62. So of course the AK is going to have the kick of a donkey. They put a big ass round into and assault rifle.

the 7.62 in the ak47 has less of a powder charge, such as a 7.62x39, where the 7.62 in an r700 has a greater powder charge for longer distance, for example a 7.62x54. Still a great round, easy to shoot in ak. but 5.56 NATO is still the best well rounded and bad ass round on the market

@1v1oCODoStatus The AK-47 shoots a 7.62x39mm round. The Remington Model 700 shoots a 7.62 NATO (.308 Winchester round.) If you look at the bullet itself (between an AK and a Model 700) they're about the same size. But it also has to do with the velocity of the bullet. A sniper is obviously going to have more punch than a assault rifle or carbine.

Coming from a Veteran, the AK-47 isn't the most accurate weapon. But, the range is amazing, and so is the damage. The 7.62MM is amazingly powerful; although I prefer the M4A1, seeing as it has a faster fire rate, and is a shit ton more accurate.
