shawn has been the lead singer for kool and the gang for almost 20 yrs and he still brings such entusiasm and joy to the concerts. for me the gang is better with him then the original singer. he seems to truly appreciate being in the gang and enjoy wat he is doing. i love the guy.

Shawn is an authentic member too! but yes, he's not original. Both him and J.T. are awesome.

@JakeJax He's better than being original, because it is a great person and a great worker's soul "Kool and the Gang." Personally I liked the voice of Odeen Mays Jr.

Odeen is awesome! he was great in KATG, and he just recorded a bit with the Temptations! Awesome singer, great range.
Shawn is amazing, and I got to meet him briefly, he was very humble and kind. Good guy, I hope he spends a long time in the group.
