I wonder if they're using Pharrell William's clap samples during "Hold your hand" cause I don't see any of em' clapping... and they sound pretty crisp. lol
I can see why John hated performing like this. You can't even hear their music over all the girls screaming. I can't think of any greater insult than to claim to love a musician who's art you ignore and drown out.

Amen on the Cavern footage. And the sync was perfect. Really rare for the time. Plus, their sound was spot-on, despite the lack of monitors and the youthfulness of the players.
so i traveled to England this summer, and my tour guide tells me his father saw Paul a few years back. I was astounded, and said "how was he????!!!!" He told me his father said "he was good, but it didn't beat the real thing." "???????? What do you mean????" I asked. He told me his father saw the Beatles in the Cavern Club in 1963............... I nearly choked on my drink......... lucky SOB.
Thanks for posting this,i haven't seen this since the 80's,i used to have it on video,as far as i know it's only been shown once. Was it ever released on DVD?
Some of the video is so primitive, it can't do justice to the incredible vocals and tightness of this proto-ROCK band! They far outstrip their contemporary "competition" and, in terms of actual talent, could well hold their own even amongst today's "talent."
Ringo is so cute!! I'm glad that he became the official drummer!! Otherwise, everyone would be average height XD Haha noo Ringo is a special little baby :D
@Sconz32 He was an outcast in his social sphere, he was artistic, talented, physically attractive, hard-working, intelligent and broke, with a strong desire to live the life of an artist as well as have money and material things. In my opinion these traits and his fortunate affiliation with Paul propelled his career originally.
Who are these losers? They're trying to look old fashioned, and the songs are bad quality and people are screaming because they hate it so much. How pathetic!
@niggerga They replaced him with Dumbo who was caught banging his drum over Rory storms wigs around lime street with 8 others. That's why he wanted to buy a hair dressing saloon in the wirral once he became Blingo the cootie. rofl

But there is a way around it...Go to the google search and type in "Savage young beatles" and the first link that comes up is the website. It`s wild, they got photos of the beatles playing to like 3 people in clubs, pics when they were 16 years old. Tons of pics really.
To add to that, the only place those great bands do get press is in Rolling stone or spin magazine, and possibly the Grammys, but still, It's a shame that society has come to the point that the mediocre is considered to be what the mainstream people "can understand" which is hardly true. Granted I know a lot of people my age who loves the Beatles. Come on, someone has got to be pretty arrogant and closeminded not to like the classic bands. Listening to the Beatles makes me feel smarter!!!!
I don't understand why the majority of this generation doesn't listen to great music like this. Instead they go for the horrible kind and most of them have messages that deal with killing, stealing, lying.....well everything that isn't good. I love the Beatles!!!!! PEACE
Better call it mainstream, rap and pop music isnt all mainstream, for example abba was pop and tupac and many others were rappers, but that doesnt mean they were mainstream

too bad, my generation has less interest in these types of music
I know, they try to say the Jonas Brothers and the other Disney stars are rock and I really don't understand that. I am so glad the Beatles exist. If they didn't music wouldn't be as good to listen to. PEACE
