I hate to say it, and want to distance Dave from anything Nirvana related, but this song is very Seattle-y, flanelly and grungy. He's gone away from this sound, but I heard this tune for the first time in years, and now realize it and hear that 1991 sound/influence clear as day.
@bsdman1 I heard via Dave that Kurt had heard this in an early version and even wanted to make it a Nirvana song althought he wanted to change the verse lyrics.
This could so easily be a Nirvana song.
