I have a nice Maton which has the very nice subtle qualities that all Maton's have. But I'd buy a Martin in a heartbeat after hearing one a friend of mine bought. Wonderful full woody tone and quite loud, projects extremely well without having too much bottom end like some dread's I've heard. Very impressed.

OOOH Nice, I'd love to have a Maton! What kind of Martin does your friend have? D-18's are my personal favorite, my Uncle has 2 Martins [a D-28 and D-18V] and a friend of his has a 1963 D-18. [I think, I know it was from the 60's]

I had the privelige of meeting one of the greatest Maton endorsees of all time, Mr. Tomm Emmanuel, yes the Tommy Emmanuel. He's one of the humblest guys I've ever met, he signed my Martin, now I just have to make that guitar worthy of having a Master's name on it!

Oh I forgot to say, I have a DX1KL [L for left handed], you can see it in the videos on my channel. They are from before it was signed and the new pickguard was put on so in newer videos it would look different.

Wow, I love this version of Signe with the bass player playing the acoustic bass instead of the double bass...wish I could get an entire version done like this.

this was in the middle of the show. in the whole unplugged concert not just the edited commerical edition he plays signe multiple time so this signe isnt the one he played at the beginning of the concert and the reason clapton grabs an acoustic and andy a mandolin is becasue they r going to play my fathers eyes which was cut from the commerical dvd/album

1-That lick at 1:02 is played at the beggining of Lonely Stranger

2-Andy Fearweather Low grabs the mandolin(which he plays on Lonely Stranger) and plays a little bit on 1:06

3-Eric says "that means the whole first part of the show is wasted?" Signe was only the first song

4-those people clapping hands at 00:1 are seen at the end of TiH

He can't played "lonely stronger" with this guitar, he need his clasic guitar, not his folk guitar, with this, he will go to play "before you accuse me", but Andy fearweather low takes his mandolin, so I don't know,It's a confusion, but Now, I can't call Eric for to know, exuse me...
