bruce lee doesnt use many tkd kicks actually cause most of them rely on kicking above the waste were as jkd involves kicking below the waste because lee considered it more efficient
@gysgtsong Great respect indeed, 75 years old, paralyzed left side, 100 pushups in succession, thats hard enough for the average younge person, good form or not. From my understanding he is 79 now and still doing 100 push ups.
A jealous man using the name Andy62 on the Transformetrics forum said he could do 100 pushups with better form than Jhoon Rhee and would video the event. He said he just needed something like 2-3 months to prepare after not doing any pushups for several years. He thought we would forget about his bragging but we kept on his case. In the end there was no video and Andy62 was exposed for the liar he is.
The Transformetrics forum is a sad and pathetic joke. Andy62 is a fool. John Peterson went on record saying that he saw the video and that the form was good. He then stated that the video would not be made available for viewing because he was afraid somebody might make fun of Andy62. Are these the kind of "men" you would want your son to look up to?
Yes, the one and same. The saga of Andy62's 100 pushup video dragged on for months with Andy assuring everyone it was forthcoming. Never happened. When the date arrived and passed, the excuses were a riot . In the end, Peterson came to Andy's rescue by claiming he had seen the video in wich Andy had performed "100 perfect pushups" but advised Andy not to post it because 4 or 5 people might ridicule it. Well, at least that'e better than "the dog ate the video".
hmm, i think many people at one time or another could do a good.. chin to the floor, back straight 100 pushups at one time or another.. though.. but that does not at all compair to doing them at this age. :)
Jhoon Rhee was friends with the late Bruce Lee. Jhoon Rhee was a pioneer of full contact protective gear back in the 70's foam helmets gloves and boots which you can still see very similiar copies of today on the market. What would have been really cool would be to have seen Bruce and Jhoon perform 100 pressups together if Bruce had lived, ....respect to Jhoon Rhee....very inspiring.
As a former student of a Jhoon Rhee institute of Tae Kwon Do I can honestly say I am always amazed to see Master Rhee as fit and flexible as he is and at the same time disappointed that Grand Master Jhoon Rhee is not more widely known.

You mean that forum that is run by a con man? A man who looks like a slick used car salesman.
Those fools ran down Master Rhee's performance. They sounded quite bitter and jealous.
Whammer79 3 years ago 7
Yes that is them. I would have loved to see Master Rhees biggest critic do those pushups but it turns out he was lieing
