I used to go door to door in that neighborhood doing Census work. Most of the kids did not participate and were always drunk. They are just a privileged class of society that will wake up to the realities of life when their parents get tired of bailing them out of situations. Then they realize they have to buckle down and take things seriously. No matter what time they wake up to the seriousness of life their dads have a career waiting for them in their company, and these kids know it.
