is it only me that thinks that is reacting too slowly on his fingers? Dont think thats precise enough to my mood. Would get pretty annoyed when the fun trial period was over... but nice idea...
@YASxYT look at 03:00-03:20 in the video, there is a visible "lag" from the hand moves till the icons starts to move = slow reaction, and what I call "lagging" in computer games or "slow response". Perhaps its the computer showing it, but still its too slow for everydays use. Dont take me wrong, I think the idea is nice, but it has to perform great to be usefull.
@Oldone11 Try looking from 0:25-0:45- he puts his finger on the screen and movies and it takes quater to half a second, before the action on the screen happens accordingly. But nevermind, I think the interface is too unprecise for real business purpose. Too much sliding and gliding, too little precision. Obviously quite fun to play with, but thats not why I would use it.
@OCMElPolo yes i have it on windows 7 X 64 and it works smoothly so yeah but you now need to pay for it so if you want a copie of installer i have one extra
I love this conceptually, but like most new technologies I'm excited to see the novelty aspect phased out over time and see it refined to purely it's more practical elements.
Right now it seems a tad clunky. But I love where it's going.
very cool video but the osx version is lacking IMO. When I signed up for the Bumptop newslist years ago, Bumptop seemed more advanced than the osx version's current version.
physics engine underneath eating all your windows resources got this on windows 7 it sucks keep forgetting witch wall i have icons are on still have to use mouse and menus for search all it encourages you to do is fill your desktop with crap like photos music and text documents i dont wish my real desktop was like this i wish my real desktop had files and folders mutch better i dont move things on my real desktop in the same way is is a total wast of time and money but this is just my opinion
Seems really cool but I still don't see how I could help me be "more productive." While this does seem like an excellent design for touch surfaces, I think that many users will have a hard time parting with the folder / directory paradigm.
GOOD (i repeat GOOD) touchsreen laptops are still in test-phase (i dont know if theyre allready out in USA but they arent in the netherlands =3 (but i wont buy em anyway waste of money) )
Interesting. What version of Windows 7 was this? The readily available Beta or a special issue for developers? I need a new laptop but I want to skip Vista and get 7 right away.
3:40 vista sucks

@BerggreenDK I think it's the screens fault, cuz it's not reacting slow for me...

@BerggreenDK what I meant is that it's the Touchscreens fault, the screen He is using.
Or this was some early version of the program, and that's why it was slow.
Since I'm using this program, I know it's not slow. At least not for me! :)

@BerggreenDK
I have looked and looked and absolutely no lag
