  • A very good imitation, but two points: 1) they didn't have millions to make the movie. 2) this is not a parody.

  • lol Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. Hilarious :-)

  • No parody.

  • its just a flesh wound

  • Simply put, Parody is a better key word. Thanks for watching :)

  • So I have a question. How exactly is this a parody? I imagine if you are a film school student you might have come across the term which means to alter, humorously, something that exists.

Parody is not merely recreating something line by line, cut by cut. That would be called a "remake", like Psycho.

  • Wait is this NOT the real thing? unbieliveable because i literally JUST GOT DONE watchign this movie

  • Made me laugh. I bet you had great fun doing it. This was a classic, even though it was low budget. Better than many. nay nearly all, high budget comic films.

  • Robin Hood: Men In Tights reference, perhaps? Haha. Mel Brooks and the Pythons - pure genious!

  • kool video lol nice cutting scenes

  • 0:09 That's some quality swordsmanship. Was the servant at 0:35 to 0:43 a reference to Robin Hood: Men In Tights?

  • I liked how Arthur's servant was dancing funny in the background!

  • Liked the "Robin Hood Men In Tights" reference Patsy was doing in the background. "This ain't exactly the Mississippi!"

  • 1 prob you cut the 2nd leg off and in the real one he cuts half of the body :/

  • Monty Python Modernized Same Low Budget Same Foolishness Different Actors!

  • did anyone see the guy in the backround when his first arm got cut off >=D i saw him

  • I love the part when he falls over @ 2:11, I'll bet that wasn't in the script.

  • i love it. how do you do the cut of to thal legs

  • XD Awesome work guys, my only gripe was some of the line delivery, but aside from that, it was absolutely flawless!

  • Good but, the dudes should have practised the lines more.

  • that's really good act there almost the real thing 4/5 for the job but 5/5 for the joke of it

  • whered you get the costumes????

  • whos the guy dancing in the back??or jumping whatever he is doing

  • Impressive, almost nailed it perfectly.

I liked how the guy playing patsie did the Achu thing from Robin Hood Men in Tights. "I'm on the east side, I'm on the west side"

  • wow! great job! loved the fighting scene, it would be so awesome to get to make a movie like that, i admire you guys:D

  • what the hell are you guys talking about, this is a movie,. they didnt make it hahaha

  • lol, are you serious? what happened to Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin, and Terry Gilliam then?

  • Great work I loved it!

  • Lol funny x3 just like the fight in the movie very good job xD!!!!

  • good but not as good as the original and i dont think its possible to make a parody of a parody

  • yeh the original is impossible to beat, of course they had millions to make it with, we made it for under 200 bucks!

  • thats true ill give u a 4/5 because at the part from 0:38 it started to mess up sum fro mthere on u really didn t capture the moment all the rest awesome job mate =D

  • interesting fact, they actually made that movie for just over 150000 pounds (between 150 and 200000 dollars in 1975). Interesting fact. Not a bad remake though.

  • They only had a little over 200,000 pounds on budget to make Holy Grail.

Bet you didn't know that huh? Nevertheless, I stand by what I said before, this was VERY nice.

  • @studentsoffilm They didn't have millions when they made Monty Python and The Quest for the Holy Grail. It was very low budget.

  • @studentsoffilm No the whole movie actualy only cost them about $300000

  • @studentsoffilm Not million actually!

They lacked horses because of lack of money

  • Dude, I'm going to start being an independet filmmaker and I am surpised on how you guys made the arm and leg effect, how did you guys do it?!

    I love it...

  • well its just alot of planning, we tested a few differrent things but ended up making a fake arm out of duct tape and wire, the we set up a velkro system on the suits to be able to fall off at the right moments, then we used ballons for bloods effects, it looks better on HD but we had to down convert the quality to 20 percent to fit it on youtube. thanks for the comment and good luck!

  • hey that was awsome fore a few minutes i thot it was the real thing great job

  • LOL good times it was

  • you guys are amazing

  • thansk we had a ton of fun filmin these

  • very nice and funny, great costumes and everything. Very well done

  • thanks we worked hard at it

  • I can tell. This video should have way more views in my opinion.

  • Also, I think this is the best reenactment of this scene I have ever seen.

  • sweet we tried hard to get it as close to the original as possible I just dont know how to get more views, Im new to youtube, thanks for the advice
