i live in taiwan, have lived here for many years now.. the demand for learning english here is also very high.. and to answer the one guys comment about learning chinese.. for one thing its a character based system, and NOT high in demand.. whether or not u believe it, english IS the #1 lang of the WORLD.. NOT chinese.. the ONLY reason chinese is the 'dubbed' #1 is not because its spoken in most countries, but because it has the largest population.. that is IT..
I am chinese, I live in shanghai, and WE, chinese people think English teachers from foreign countries are silly, what you couldn't make it in your countries? haha....accomplish some real goals.
There are multiple ways to look at going over to a foreign country, however I wouldn't imagine doing it for the cash. Any real expat should be having a domestic income supporting their international activities anyway. Since the filming of this, got married to a Japanese lady so I don't really see China as a place I'll be going anyway. I'm pretty sure there are many people who wouldn't like me there, but many that would. Gotta love the variety of life!
@koreasucks1000 What a stupid comment. What do you suggest real goals are? Also, what about Chinese teachers from China who teach Chinese in foreign countries?
so what about all the chinese who come to america.. cant they make it in their own country..? truth be told most people will ALWAYS prosper more in a foreign country.. being from the USA i always see foreigners get better jobs and treatment.. the USA has no insurance either.. also the economy is very bad, everything is being out sourced.. so, with all this, NO many americans can NOT make a decent living in their own country any more, u sarcastic A hole =)
Good speech, Beau. If you happen to be big on profits and low on principles, you will do well in China. Many publicly traded Chinese corporations are traded on NYSE or NASDAQ. They need U.S.-trained financial talents like you. I am not being sarcastic. You do need to be flexible with rules and principles in order to fit in in China, if you know what I mean. Good luck.
NAZI CHINA "Don`t mix olympic up politics" great china olympic history 1956 CHINA boycotted Melborne (Taiwan issue) 1960 CHINA boycotted Roma (Taiwan issue) 1964 china boycotted Tokyo (Nuclear test) 1968 CHINA boycotted Mexico (Taiwan issue) 1972 CHINA boycotted München (Taiwan issue) 1976 CHINA boycotted Montreal (Taiwan issue) 1980 CHINA boycotted Moscow (Afghanistan issue this is a red joke of NAZI CHINA next is our turn.BOYCOTT CHINA OLYMPIC!
That's a great point. I really do think that we should learn Chinese. 1.4 Billion people speak Chinese, and soon China will have more english speakers than the United States. I hope I can learn Chinese :D

My primary mission in the future will be to curb any foreign exploitations of the Chinese, by force if necessary.
China needs a bill of rights specifically designed against foreign investors, NOW!

Might want to accelerate that plan then, as China will be doing that for every other country soon enough ;)
