@FrostRussia Pull one arm back. Let the end of the lead closest to your poi hit your arm, which will make the poi themselves wrap around. But even then, if you get too happy with it, you can bruise the crap out of yourself just from your leads. Which I've done - and I got very deep bruises that took a long time to heal, even though I didn't use weights on my poi and they never actually hit me. If Distopher's got better ideas on method, I'm up for hearing them.
@funguywoo i disagree completely. flowtoys are fantastic and very hard to break, unless you're just swinging around the flowlights without cases or anything...
@steveosk8rman11 now they are, when i got them (yes they had the cases) i did a slow butter fly and the popped in half, second pair broke just as easily. theyve gotten
@steveosk8rman11 Or, if you store them slam next to chemical glow sticks so that the gaseous esthers (sp?) break down the polycarbonate and make it brittle! Which, I imagine, is probably the case in a few instances.

i dont know why you ppl say hes good idk mayb just because your bad yourself but all his videos are exactly the same he shows quite literally no progress at all
I truly admire your skill.. I really hope that with time I will one day be as good as this.. simply astonishing! I've recently got into it and I love poi and with that passion I'll turn it into skill. How long have you been spinning?
have any tips or tricks to get as good as you? I can do it alright, but i can't seem to move with the lights spinning and put them on/around my body..
this has to be the best poi swinging i've seen so far on youtube most of them just do normal circles but you take it wayyyy beyond that, Awesome! Can I steal you lol.
The aesthetics of this video are absolutely beautiful. The idea of highlighting the silhouette of the spinner in front of that doorway while keeping the poi visible in the darkness surrounding it is genius. The music is also fantastic. The spinning itself is phenomenal. You have single-handedly re-inspired my dream of becoming a masterful spinner. Thank you.
I seriously can't get over how much I love being able to see the contortions of the body, arms and fingers this way, and so beautifully. It's just so wonderful.
Great movie man i really like that background. You could work on some timing like in your flowers but really nicely made movie man. :) *GREAT LED POI :)
Thank you very much! In the video I am spinning in a large "common room" on the ground floor of an apartment complex. The music is from Cirque Du Soleil, and the specific song is Delirium - Pokinoi. Thanks again!
Wow, reallly nice dude!
How do you do those butterfly wraps in the start of the video? I'd love to learn that.

I must say, this video is worth five stars. The contrast and visuals you went with were quite different from normal spin videos, and very refreshing.
Your music choice I also liked, what is the title to the song?
lucienrahl 3 years ago 4
Thank you for the nice comment. The song is "Pokinoi" from Cirque Du Soleil's "Delirium." Have a great day!
