My jaw literally dropped when he got that 854, after seeing the 821 I thought he was gonna get stapled. unreal.
Is stan one of those guys that doesnt get alot out of knee wraps? I know some people get literally like 70lbs+ out of them while others get maybe 20-40lbs or even less. Even if hes one of those middle of the road guys that gets 40ishlbs outta them, he could realistically have a shot at a 900lb wrapped squat.
this is fucking awesome, there's no doubt about that. i feel like you should take your total and multiply by how many BW pullups you can do, that's how awesome you are in terms of my scoreboard. i dont give a fuck if someone has a 3000 pound total and can do less pull ups than me :P
i have a question. i can squat 510 lbs unofficially but i'm not sure if i'm going low enough. i'm scared i'm going to blow my knees out if i go any lower.
i use a dumbbell bench and let the end of my glutes tap the the end of the bench before i go up. is that low enough? are there any other indicators that i can learn to know i'm not cheating myself? i feel a burn in upper legs and stomach but i'm not sure i'm getting the full burn i should
@Hadselll okay, i'm doing 405 at reps of 8 right now so i wont go any heavier until i start going lower. should my butt be lower than my knees though when i squat?
@big973e id say just about yeah... maybe a little bit lower... when you go lower it actually takes the pressure off your knees and loads it to your glutes/hamstrings.... you may have to build up that area to go lower... i have some trouble with my hip thrusters cause there my weak point. box squats will do you wonders. very nice on 405 tho... my max is 425 atm.... by far my weakest area.
@Hadselll Box squats are not good for a raw lifter. Box squats are helping you get use to "sitting back" like you do when wearing a squat suit. Box squats will make you a lazy biotch if your raw. Go deep and heavy!
hmm seems like his explosive powerr in deadlift is really laking , realitve to KK and benni hes not really close to thier level but i can tell hes trying so badly, i think i admire him more because by the looks of it he wasnt born strong he had to fight for it and work hard, ofc any elite lifter do but somthing about him tells me he wasnt strong at all as a kid, while andy bolton's frist deadlift was like 500 pound, regardless he has a high total and 850 RAW squat and 606 bench is insane alone

@matklstrength not really I watched from the side. He was about an inch or so below parallel. Also probably squatted that deep to guarantee a legit lift, and everyone respects deep squats.
