Living in CA and having a second home in Las Vegas I see a lot of the fighters, have rolled with some of them, never said I was a MMA fighter. In China it's really the same as Kung-fu, but in Cantonese it's spelled with a "G" as in chi-gung or Chi-kung, in Mandarin it's spelled with a K. But we use the G spelling because in the US most Kung-fu has become so watered down and is little more than altered karate so we use gung-fu to differentiate between the more traditional and modern. If you ever see some of the older Kung-fu movies and listen closely you'll hear them actually saying "gung-fu" most of the time too. Keep up the training!
Ahh got it. The second I read Gung-Fu the first thing I thought is that it was related to was Kung-Fu lol. I've only been training in Gracie Jiu Jitsu for like 8 months, and Muay Thai for about 5 but I'm only 17 so I have a lot of time to grow. My Jiu Jitsu instructor is a brown belt, but he got his purple belt from Carlos Gracie Jr. himself, so I know that he knows what he's doing lol.
Very good. I started my own training at 14 but really got into it at 16 so your at a good age. Gracie stuff seems to be pretty good overall, nice going.

You don't know me . I have scored several bouts and personally know many of the top fighters. Living in CA and having a second home in Las Vegas I see a lot of the fighters, have rolled with some of them, never said I was a MMA fighter. Jiu Jitsu is my game, I am not a name dropper but recently I got to roll with one of the UFC champions he is 45 lbs smaller than me and dominated me but didn't sub me for 4 minutes. A win is a win and Roy won. This is not brawling go back to TMZ & Tiger's stuff

No..no knowledge of fighting at all...just been training for 25 years in true fighting oriented Gung-fu, been in real street fights for my life with people on drugs and alcohol who are twice my size, throwing punch after punch non stop to try and smash your face to pieces while screaming die, die, die with each blow, no gloves, no rules, no ref, no one to help you and was able to block, move, counter, get out of holds, stop the person and escape several times.. but I know nothing..ok, ha

I have been training in Gracie jiu jitsu for about 8 months and Muay Thai for about 5 now. In China it's really the same as Kung-fu, but in Cantonese it's spelled with a "G" as in chi-gung or Chi-kung, in Mandarin it's spelled with a K. But we use the G spelling because in the US most Kung-fu has become so watered down and is little more than altered karate so we use gung-fu to differentiate between the more traditional and modern. If you ever see some of the older Kung-fu movies and listen closely you'll hear them actually saying "gung-fu" most of the time too. Keep up the training!

Ahh got it. The second I read Gung-Fu the first thing I thought is that it was related to was Kung-Fu lol. I've only been training in Gracie Jiu Jitsu for like 8 months, and Muay Thai for about 5 but I'm only 17 so I have a lot of time to grow. My Jiu Jitsu instructor is a brown belt, but he got his purple belt from Carlos Gracie Jr. himself, so I know that he knows what he's doing lol.
