You have the exact characters and their placement I have always had in my FF7 games. It's amazing how many people either have Vincent or Yuffie with Cloud and Cid. Guess their the most popular characters. I personally like Tifa, but she's somewhat useless in many things. She just seems so underpowered in many instances in the beginning. Well, unless you have her limit levels up.

BTW, you want to get this GOLD Chocobo as soon as possible, The Northeast Island has a cave where you get the best Summon materia It takes ALOT of AP to level up the Knights of the round Summon which can do close to 130,000HP, Use W-Summon and you can do 260,000HP damage, BTW, this guy has the BEST Game Videos, I can't tell you how much his video's helped, watch them all, I got to the last point of this ancient forest and I couldn't get over to the cave,until I saw this.

You can get to the ancient forest with a Green Mountain Chocobo, summarily, which you get by breeding a Good Female and a Great Male feeding them a bunch of sylkis greens and racing them to A class then breeding with carob nut. You have to fly the green chocobo to the area if you use a green chocobo though.

u breed a green chocobo class A with a blue chocobo class A with a special nut, I can't remember which one it is. Search up 'chocobo breeding ff7' or something like that.

no glitch thats a golden chocobo which is better then the black, go to the chocobo trainer that you visted way early in the game and they teach you how to get the varies chocobos thru breeding. theres also a chocobo sage near the north crater.

You need a Black Chocobo and a Wonderful Chocobo to get a gold chocobo :3.

Wonderful, you can catch on the tracks outside Icicle Inn. Only the chocobos there with JUST the bunny rabbit/s are Wonderful (so if it's with a bunny and something else... ignore it).

Black chocobo, so need to breed a green and a blue. :3

Black and Wonder both should really be A or S class in the races, but I'm not sure if you HAVE to D:

It's in the Northern Cave, you can leave the Northern Cave which some people don't understand...there's a ladder of rocks on this cave in the starting of the cave.

My disc always froze when I tried to go in the last cave in the Ancient Forest, so I could never get that weapon... I never knew what was in there. Apparently it's the Apocalypse weapon with triple materia growth.

I always just used Cid's weapon for my triple materia growth needs. I think Cid and Cloud have the only two triple-growth weapons in the game.

It's such a waste to use Cid's triple-growth weapon though. Why? Because he has another weapon with FIVE double-growth slots, making that the best weapon in the game in terms of AP gains (5X2=10, better even than the Apocalypse's 3X3=9). This is assuming, of course, that you want to master a lot of materia.

The method he is using doesn't require AP grinding, so the triple growth factor loses it's value for that purpose.

I'm going to assume no 4x Cut, because that takes way too long to learn.

Without ultimate weapons, I like Double Cut better, because the damage can be more focused. With ultimate weapons at max power, you can easily get 9999 damage, so Slash-All starts becoming more useful. That said, I exploit both with Mime and Master Command.

The Forest of the Ancients is a bit quirky, but I do like it. For me the best thing to get there is the slash-all materia. Not only does it hit every enemy, to me it seemed to improve damage, too. It makes physical attacks a viable option to just enemy skills and magic.

I was more so referring to the Berserker job class and Umaro, really. In any case, Berserk is far better in FF4 than any other FF, because you have 5 party members at once. Losing 1-2 characters to Berserk wasn't a huge loss, especially since Cecil/Yang/Edge couldn't do much else. Also, everyone can cast attack magic in this game.

Vincent is indeed a fantastic caster, it's just too bad his Limit Break renders them redundant. That's why I always make him a summoner: run out of Summon charges or MP, then have him transform as he will have taken enough damage by then. Capital!

And Typhoon/Typoon/Typhon/Chupon can SMO. Crap summon, annoying mistranslation.

I love the apocalypse sword, only 3 materia slots but it's triple growth and is one of the most powerful sword for cloud, maybe the 2nd or 3rd most powerful. It also looks really cool. I like slash all, its not better than 4x cut though. Re vincents limit breaks, I think they look really cool, but they are useless against boss types because you cant really afford to lose control of him. However this encourages you to use them, and chaos is quite powerful.
