The argument raised in the beginning of this video is an interesting one. Putting the term sport on something almost implies that there has to be some kind of competition. But It's obvious that that isn't the goal of Parkour.

I would say if it is a sport then it is an extreme one. But I would lean more towards calling Parkour a discipline closer to martial arts. I haven't been practicing parkour for very long but I enjoy it to no end, I have however been a martial artist for several years.

The only people who can't are those who are not trained properly and do not have the discipline to work their way from the ground up.
