Screamo is a genre. When someone screams in a song, it's not immediately screamo. Tim doesn't even use the same technique they use in the genre called Screamo. Every song with screaming is falsely called screamo nowadays. While screamo is actually a really unknown genre, with bands such as Circle Takes The Square. This is melodic hardcore, it is totally different from screamo, apart from it using distorted guitars and screams (though they are hardly the same screams) feeling=totally different

@tayzXlove bc alot of time Tim's songs are x10 better the second time you here them. Theve already heard RA songs 2 times or more so they sound amazing, so listening to a TKT song for the 1st time, it sounds way inferior. At least thats the way I feel about both bands (and what kept me from getting into any of TKT 's songs). Also fans of only ATR prolly wouldnt like TKT too much :(

Grindcore, metalcore, metal, hardcore, all have very distinctive marks. @slamajamaZ Have you listened to the other version? The guitar is barely audible at certain parts. For example, 0:57 doesn't sound nearly as good on the original version. Plus, they dubbed Tim's voice too low in the original. His voice also sounds a lot better during the chorus in this version. There are plenty of differences.

Saw Tim live in Molson Ampitheater July 31st 2009. Best day of my life. Although it was with RA, he still does an AMAZING job. His screams that he does for RA are just as good as they were for TKT

I really doubt the woman talking throughout the CD is Helen Trent. The Romance of Helen Trent was an old radio broadcast show that aired for a bazillion years. The show had similar themes such as heartbreache and relationshp pain, which Is way i believe they named the Cd this. But the audio is really neat, ties the CD together.

the audio on this album came from a bag of 113 cassette tapes found in a dumpster in chicago by billy roberts (forgotten four/ loop distro). me and my friend jonathan menjivar edited a bunch of them together into a 15-minute piece which we shared with tim. the killing tree used excerpts throughout the album. still not sure who the actual girl is in the recordings...
