@andrea6117 I checked out their website a while ago, i don't think they get paid a whole lot to cheer like at the games and stuff, but they get paid to show up places & perform yeah.
The DCC all have lovely figures- sexy legs, curvy bottoms etc. etc.- they are perfect pinups. I like them. However, they are more like go-go dancers now. I think they are girls who like to tease and entice guys. I'm not complaining. Sometimes it's nice to be teased.

@supergleek1223 yeah but real cheerleaders go to competitions. and in most rule books. atleast one team stunt and one gymnastics move HAS to be proformed or you get points deducted. and they only do like 5 sidelines at games. and dance the rest of the game. most teams has around 40 sidelines and have to do them one after another. not just stand there and be cute. i'm only saying all of this because i cheer at college and am sick of people thinking that all we do is dance and look cute.
@ITSallBOUTrc well cheerleading isnt only defined as doing competitions and stunting along w/ dance. at my old elementary school they had their own little cheer squad and don't do that kind of thing. they do their little dances and cheer on their team. now if someone came up to those sweet little girls and told them that since they don't do stunts they arent cheerleaders they would go home and cry their little hearts out. some squads don't do competitive cheerleading. they are still cheerers.

Ahem they body type is not what makes the cheerleader, yes it would help to be skinny but the most that counts is being HEALTHY and having the MOVES down. To make out the cheerleader, is being able to dance, not the looks or the body. Chubby or not, you lose weight from just one cheer alone, and if I might recall, I seen many cheerleaders who are on the plus side, turn to be beautiful woman and still manage to get the dance perfectly.

think about it =/ most pro cheerleaders are more of dancers. they're performances aren't what u think of when you normally think of cheerleading like in high school. whether NFL or NBA cheerleaders, its mostly dancing.
I like the cheerleaders but I don't like their dancing/routines. They don't look difficult, and they don't look fascinating. I don't understand how some of the girls can't do the routines during tryouts! The most difficult part should be being inshape for the uniforms. After saying that, I love watching their auditioning process and their fitness DVDs. If you want to look like them, buy the Workout DVD!

Damn, those cheerleaders are very hot as the city of Dallas itself in the summertime! I like the blonde cheerleader the best. She is so hot that if she farted, I would definiately smell them. they do jump kicks. thats drill team. and they do like double turns. thats dance. ive been a cheerleader for 10 years and a dancer for 15 and i definitely say their dancers. tumbling and stunts are what make cheerleading cool. without it, its boring to watch.
I give these girls alot of credit. I'm not one for reality shows but I got sucked into making the team and wooo...these girls gotta work!! I saw a girl get cut because she gained 2 pounds...2 pounds!! How did they know she didn't have her period or something? But nope! Over the poundage, you're gone! okay wow im a cheerleader, and I have been for 7 years. I am very sensitive when it comes to people giving cheerleading a bad name. This does not... at all. There are different kinds of cheerleading this is one type. I used to be a dancer, and its just as hard as cheerleading.
Well, for dance teams, there are several different types of dance. Examples would be hip hop, lyrical, and drill. There is an area of dance called pom where many aspects of cheerleading are incorporated into dance. To me, DCC is a cheerleading squad that is incorporating alot of dance into their routines. It would seem easier to dance than to cheer at NFL games simply because no one can hear you or see you that well from their stadium seats.

first of all, did anyone consider the FACT that another division of cheerleading is called Pom, and in pom it is more dance than stunts and chants. It is clear that the DCCs are incorporating more pom technique than cheer. Then we can debate, why are they then called cheerleaders why not poms. because! it really annoys me when ppl say the dcc aren't cheerleaders because they don't stunt and tumble and they wear cowboy boots first of all the boots are dancing shoes and they are a lot better then the shoes the other nfl cheerleaders wear and in my city tumbling and stunting was outlawed cause of too many injuries now all we can do is dance does that make us not cheerleaders just because we cant stunt?

Just because they are not jumping and tumbling and doing stunts does not mean they are not cheerleaders. Their job is to CHEER on the crowd and they do it through dance routines which still qualifies them as Cheerleaders.

id appreciate it if you WOUDLNT say that its just dancing, because if you've ever really watched them they do amazing cheers tumbles and stunts, as a fellow cheerleader i know that isnt normal dancing because ive tooken dancing and cheerleading.

Damn, those cheerleaders are very hot as the city of Dallas itself in the summertime! I like the blonde cheerleader the best. She is so hot that if she farted, I would definiately smell them. I like all the cheerleaders if they farted. The blonde one is what I prefer. Hot girls have hot, good-smelling farts. Those farts always make me euphoric! Mmmmm!!!!

they are definitely dancers.
they do jump kicks. thats drill team. and they do like double turns. thats dance. ive been a cheerleader for 10 years and a dancer for 15 and i definitely say their dancers. tumbling and stunts are what make cheerleading cool. without it, its boring to watch.

I give these girls alot of credit. I'm not one for reality shows but I got sucked into making the team and wooo...these girls gotta work!! I saw a girl get cut because she gained 2 pounds...2 pounds!! How did they know she didn't have her period or something? But nope! Over the poundage, you're gone! Not to mention the physical crap these girls gotta go through, all the moves and lifts and weight training. Sorry I'd rather be a size 6 and randomly active then have to do the stuff they do.

its just dancing....it gives cheerleading a bad name! cheerleading is not what it is saposed to be anymore. there is no sharpness or actual CHEERING! they arent cheering the team on. they are just shaking their butts...

okay wow im a cheerleader, and I have been for 7 years. I am very sensitive when it comes to people giving cheerleading a bad name. This does not... at all. There are different kinds of cheerleading this is one type. I used to be a dancer, and its just as hard as cheerleading.

Well, for dance teams, there are several different types of dance. Examples would be hip hop, lyrical, and drill. There is an area of dance called pom where many aspects of cheerleading are incorporated into dance. To me, DCC is a cheerleading squad that is incorporating alot of dance into their routines. It would seem easier to dance than to cheer at NFL games simply because no one can hear you or see you that well from their stadium seats.

first of all, did anyone consider the FACT that another division of cheerleading is called Pom, and in pom it is more dance than stunts and chants. It is clear that the DCCs are incorporating more pom technique than cheer. Then we can debate, why are they then called cheerleaders why not poms. because! Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders sounds alot nicer than Dallas Cowboy Poms. Hello. ~ I got yalls back from one cheerleader to another. Representin' Warriors.

it really annoys me when ppl say the dcc aren't cheerleaders because they don't stunt and tumble and they wear cowboy boots first of all the boots are dancing shoes and they are a lot better then the shoes the other nfl cheerleaders wear and in my city tumbling and stunting was outlawed cause of too many injuries now all we can do is dance does that make us not cheerleaders just because we cant stunt?

Just because they are not jumping and tumbling and doing stunts does not mean they are not cheerleaders. Their job is to CHEER on the crowd and they do it through dance routines which still qualifies them as Cheerleaders.

I think PERSONALLY this is more dancing than cheerleading , just because i stand by the ol' 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1 and,2 like .. you get the idea .

I love the DCC they are the best, i want to be one to!!!! They are amazing and i love cheerleading anyhow, i have always loved that sport. And No i am not stuck up and think im all that just because i cheer, being a cheerleader dosnt mean you have to be all that!!!!

The name Redskins is a horrible word. It is like the N word to Native Americans. The name redskins is named after the cut off dried skin of Native Americans, sometimes cut off by US Army soldiers in the 1700 to 1800's, for sport or just to make pants or shirts. How are the sluts? Just because they dance great, and are pretty and have cute outfits, doesn't mean they are sluts. They aren't sluts. Maybe one or two truly are. But I really don't think they are. And if your thinking they sleep with the football players, they don't. it's strictly agasint the rules. And if they do they get kicked off the team. So I would just keep your mouth shut.
