What a great version of a great song! Robert Sweet's drum part is pretty simple (I'm a drummer myself), but it is so perfect for this song. I always get a kick outta watching him from 3:41 - 4:22. He is a solid rock drummer.

Once a musician have the fundamentals and basic theory of their instrument down, it's how they express themselves is what's makes the difference between them and any other musician. There are certain musicians that you know when you hear because of the stamp they've put on their approach to their instrument. B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Edge, Steve Vai, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Hornsby, are just a few examples of this.

Country has more of a twang to it. Rock is loud guitars, high octane vocals, but you can take the words to ANY song and place them in ANY style of music and STILL the meaning of the song remains. YOU CAN"T BLASPHEME AN GENRE. If you took an apple and place it in a bucket of pears, is the apple still an apple?

@fretfingers5 i remember going to a stryper concert in the mid 80s and they passed out Bibles. i think its great to get God's word out there. people are more likely to pay attention when it is in the form of a music style they like whether it be rock, rap, country or whatever. since i can't be with my kids 24-7, i can only hope that what i teach them will take them in the right direction.

What a great version of a great song! Robert Sweet's drum part is pretty simple (I'm a drummer myself), but it is so perfect for this song. I always get a kick outta watching him from 3:41 - 4:22. He is a solid rock drummer.
