@shortybj40 nup back then in this footage we were making 280kw. The setup, tyres and brakes were all really bad that why the car looks like an absolute handfull. Now we are making an extra 100kw and 6 seconds faster around that trck and the footage looks slow as can be due to the fact we have finally got the car some what settled.

Rear wants to break away on the main straight, squirms under brakes at turn 1 followed by a drift. You must be shaking with adrenaline when you come in off the track. Guys in my club said I'm crazy the way I drive Sandown, you make me look tame. Awesome!!

are you sure its 280kw? i was thinking way over 300wkw. there is another vid(same footage but with music over the top of it) and in the description is says its an rb28, so i would have thought more power??

So....... there are some vids on here like this one where the car is running a stock RB25 and making about 280kw. Then there are some vids like the more recent sandown and winton vids where the car is making 380kw with the rb28. The 25 had a higher pitch and the 28 is a bit deeper.

this clip kinda scares me. 2.5 years ago I blew up my RB25DET in my R33 which was fairly stock ~170RWKW. Since then I got a forged RB30DET built with a Garret GT35106R turbo, the list goes on and on but it's about 2 weeks off being finished and dyno tuners are saying it should be up near 400RWKW.

I now realize how scary this thing is going to be to drive. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Awesome video. There were all kinds of powerfull cars on the track, but in the more technical parts of the track you could see your low weight had serious advantages! I noticed you used alot of throttle sometimes coming out of the corners, maybe because it is fun? It did make you slower though hehe.

once im done with drifting i wana convert to time attack car also.. i know a r35 is 5 seconds quicker on the short version of my home track so if i can run 3 - 4 seconds under that time *prays* mayby its not possible but will see

Mate. Pretty std motor apart from an N! oil pump which broke soon after. I do not recomend them. Tomie 256 cams. 6boost manifold and a garret GT3540 or GT3076R cant remember. But the manifold is what makes the sound.
