However, the claim itself is something I also take very seriously, and given your attitude and general immature way of action, you don't display behavior that would compliment the uniform.

The alleged LTC could have called me on it and I would have agreed. The moment he started using a threatening tone and calling me names his conduct became unbecoming that of an officer, retired or not. No he wasnt president in the '80s, but once we were in Iraq and it was obvious there were no WMD's, which Cheney said we were "certain of", and no ties to 9/11, W turned our mission from destroying Iraq as a terrorist enemy to "bringing freedom" to the Iraqi people. And as part of his freedom fighter bullshit, he used the '88 gasing of Kurds by Ssddam as an example of how horrible he was. Of course we not only sold him weapons, under Bush and Reagan U.S. companies sold him WMD materials.

Not in Iraq, apparently when Bush invaded. As far as the WMD materials sold to Saddam under Bush and Reagan, read "Saddam: Helping Iraq Kill with Chemical Weapns"; How Did Iraq Get Its Weapons? We Sold them"; and "Hypocritical Saddam Trial; U.S. Sold Him WMD's". We hoped he'd use them on Iran, so we really didnt have any moral qualms about selling them the "evil tyrant" back then.

fugtivecon, the "source you know nothing about" is George Bush. He said in an interview on Polish TV, braodcast later around the world, that we had found WMD's and biological laboratories. That wasnt bad intelligence. He didnt say"Our intelligence sources say that". He said it, with no proof. Labs were found. Inspectors found them not to be biological labs for producing weapons, but commercial labs for producing hydrogen. Nobody told Bush to say what he said. He lied.

Dude, you're dumber than Bush. He even stopped telling that WMD lie. He's been the worst president in my lifetime. He tries to justify all his poor decision making by blaming God for it. That way he gets the religious whackos on his side. Saudis flew planes into the WTC's, not Iraqis. So how do you justify the war now?? People like you live by creeds and you believe America can do no wrong. Is America the best country in the world?!? Not sure anymore. Was way better 8 years ago. That I do know.

The "Bush Lied...People Died" phrase? If he were the liar liberals take him for, he could have easily had chemical weapons planted in Iraq so they could be "discovered." Instead, he owned up to the fact that the intelligence was faulty. The rest of the world thought Saddam had weapons of mass destruction, same as Bush. Regime change in Iraq was official US policy before Bush came into office. Clinton established that policy.

Actually my dear friend, the United States did assist Saddam in his fight against Iran, however, the WMDs and the products given to Saddam for WMDs where actually given by the French and other European nations. That's one of the reasons why they opposed the war. One of the chemical barrel stock piles they found was even written in French.

one last thought. Is it me, or did I just hear him blame the economic problem on his "economic advisers?" He blamed everyone but himself. and had the nerve to basically say that it's isn't his problem anymore. Let the next president woorry about it. That is one fucked up individual.
