Hi, im interested in racing my crf450 in an amateur class, but i do have one question, is there a way to know how fast you need to go to clear a double/triple? or do you just go balls to the wall as fast as you can?

Practice. I know that's a very generic response but in all honesty you will eventually just be able to tell how to hit the jumps. The biggest factor when racing is to have fun.

find someone that doubles or triples that jump and follow them about the same speed behind them. or stand next to the jump and watch a few people jump it and there body position also.
