More than adequate information is available to the public via the written records of the meeting. The officer might have done well by citing the city ordinance which prohibits the use of a video camera. I don't mind at all that the constituents can't be recorded by photo or video camera. Because the building and the meeting are publicly funded doesn't mean all bets are off as far as the behavior of the participants.

More than adequate information is available to the public via the written records of the meeting. The officer might have done well by citing the city ordinance which prohibits the use of a video camera. I don't mind at all that the constituents can't be recorded by photo or video camera. Because the building and the meeting are publicly funded doesn't mean all bets are off as far as the behavior of the participants.

This is crazy. It gets worse everyday. We need true citizen representation. There is a plan called Get Out Of Our House - GOOOH.com. This is a new way to get real representation. Please check it out. They will be selecting candidates this Nov. in TX and then in the rest of the country. We need to get rid of career politicians who are not representing us.

Thugs lawless cops from the lawless pope co. sheriff's dept maliciously arrested me for trying to file and film a criminal complaint. Previously I had filed charges (on video at my channel) against them with the Glenwood MN police so they don't like me.

I tried to call, and now the coward, Chabot, will not even answer the phones on ANY extension, AND you can't leave a message. Security reasons? NAME THEM! Protection of the constituents? EXPLAIN THAT! What it really is, is that Chabot doesn't want one of his slimy political dodges to come back and bite him on the ass because someone he can't control (unlike the media) caught it on camera. What a coward! Ohio voters, you're no better if you re-elect this clown.

Alas my Amurca is meeting its demise. At one time in history, the crowd would have shouted and made such a stink that this would never have happened. Imagine Mr Ben Franklin being told he could not take notes of some event. But today, the citizens of Amurca have fallen to the fear of retribution. No one wants to be arrested, it would cause many to lose their job, or be financially stressful to others. So now, the police can tell you you are breaking an imaginary law, and you acquiesce.

The people here should have all risen up and loudly protested against these actions, and the one's that had their cameras taken should file complaints or even perhaps get a lawyer
And I wonder if the live TV folks put this on the local news at least? If not, citizens should also bring that up to the news organizations
And perhaps even send a copy of this video and the other one to major networks?
