I think I heard a girl screamed in high pitch when the plane was landing. And if that plane crossed straight until the end of runway without stopping, I believe that girl would scream again full with horror.
Do you're research. SDR is a 2300m long runway and we require at least 1900m, so not a lot of room for error. This was a perfect landing- unless you want to kiss the runway and run into the lagoon at the end
that was not bad, quit being a pussy. If you can walk out of the plane then it wasn't bad. Thats was fine considering you could hold on to your camera.
If you think this is bad, read the title, this was a Hard landing, if you watch all the hard landing videos on youtube and you'll see mostly all of them can get out of the plane and could hold on to their cameras. Other wise it would be known as a crash landing.
@harrihealey02 I think it was not a very bad landing, becouse when a pilot makes a really bad landing then you cant hold your camera and the oxaygen masks over you fell down
Of all the hard landing vids I have seen on Youtube this one is by far the worst. Hell, they don't land that hard on aircraft carriers! If your plane lands harder than this one then I sure hope your insurance is fully paid up cos you ain't walking away from it.
Wow, seriously, I felt that. I can only imagine what that must've been like. I agree with you as well, I've only flown once ever, and that was with BA between Newcastle and San Diego, and while there was a bit of a hard landing at Heathrow on the way back, it wasn't as hard as the one here.
I agree, I don't think any other airline is as bad as this! Hopefully this airline should go bust and another airline should take over. If your going to fly with Ryan air, you may just swim over the sea and get there in one peace lol
That is certainly a crap landing. Checkout my Qantas landing at Heathrow video, this is how a landing should be done. :)
Hopefully the awful Ryanair will go under soon. I often fly to Dublin from Bristol, there is only one airline to chose from, and of course it's Ryanair. BA used to fly this route, but pulled out a few years ago.
I think BA should fly to any part of England including dublin to where ever since it's a british airline. Hopoefully BA would replace Ryan air and get BA more money flying to RA routes :)
There is only one redeeming feature of Ryanair for me. It's cheap, usually its £50 return fare Bristol to Dublin. But you do get what you pay for. I really miss the BA service for the above route. They used a nice little Embrear RJ145s, very comfortable almost like flying in a Learjet, and great service.
The phrase 'Service with a scowl' used to apply to Aeroflot, I'm sure these days it applies to Ryanair.
They are cheap for the flights but all of the extras like drinks, food are paid seperately and are very expensive. With BA you pay normal amounts, Get better seats, Food paid with the flight and comfort also. But Ryan air is ok for short flights.
Yeah, I agree, I do love the 737and the landing has nothing todo with the plane it self it is the pilots controling it and all ryanair landings are crap wich means on the last inuite they turn the ILS off you know your flying with ryan air when you wake up and find a massive bruse on your head from the landing lol!! It's true!
another ryanair bashing...im sick shit of ppl giving out about ryanair!! do you even realise the amount of pressure the pilots are under to get your sorry little asses to where you want to go for a quid!! british airways? the best? a survey was done and they are the worst hands on pilots! they dont even land the plane the computer does!!! thats why they are smoother! Also british airways has had waaayyyy more crashes then ryanair...actually ryanair didnt have one single fatal crash to date
Our pilot had a hard time keeping the plane stable but thankfully we landed just about! we had to wait at least 15 minutes for a bus to take us to the terminal as there werent enough to go around as all incoming flights had the same problem and pilots were docking the planes as far as possible from the runway (probably expecting I DEAR SAY IT! I crash!) it was bad to the extent that i look as though i have Parkinsons each time i fly.
Wow, ok, For the difference why not fly with BA british airways and my first flight was with them and that was so fun!! There landingw were perfect! The food was brilliant! You didn't have to pay for the food inflight, you payed online. It was great.
I have another flight with them this Friday and am really dreading it! I have been a little shaky since a return flight from Malaga to London with Easy jet 3 weeks ago. We suffered a treble last 10 minutes as the weather was awful, cloudy, rain and windy with lots of turbulence. .
We finally landed with a bump just like to Vid! the worst part was the fact that we couldnt see anything out of the window as there was a blanket of could during landing so we never really knew when the plane was going to land? only that the process took forever.
I landed in Santander last Friday evening and I have to admit it scared the crap out of me! Our pilot took ages to descend due to all the turbulence! I have been flying since i was a child and knew something was up? As time passed our pilot was literally fighting with the plane to get it stable enough to land.
Yeah, This was my first flight with ryan air and I was so shocked to compare this landing to the british airline landing with was very smooth and flown by an Airbus 320. Great comment, I'd say you were not supprised when you fellt pressue and overhead compartments blowing up since it always happens on landing. :p
I slightly agree but really it was hard, well to me it was because it was my second flight so you may have had horrifying landings but this was my worse so far and thats my opinion but in the flight it was hard but those people screaming were probably screaming because of the tea spilled over them or something.
I agree, that is worth more than flying a british airway plane to the ezact distance but to france this was to spain and it was the same distance that the BA flight sp yes that damm well is a bad airline
I think I heard a girl screamed in high pitch when the plane was landing. And if that plane crossed straight until the end of runway without stopping, I believe that girl would scream again full with horror.

bumpy landings, hard landings, crosswind... are more funny for a pilot..
it's not the best mode and don't like to passenger (apart me)..
with C172 i like when i'm in these case

Tipical Ryanair lol i hate that airliner.
anice1983 11 months ago
Man that is bad - his approach speed was very high and his descent rate was way too high. Does Ryanair specialize in rough landings?

lol hard landing :P
MrBess240 1 year ago
The Santander airport runway is 2400m for takeoff and landing of 2,000 meters, the B738 requires a distance of between 1300-1500m in normal braking.

@harrihealey02 look i can see screen and i will report you will be removed from youtube .
wizzair1313 11 months ago
since the runway is quite short it is better to come down hard at an early point instead of soft 500m later

737-800 is the most difficult 737 aircraft to land. It's a quite good landing
