  • My MD told me I need to start doing weight bearing exercise to make my bones stronger . I suffer from osteoporosis. I was told not to take the drugs like fosamax on the market as they can make you loose all your teeth or break a bone because the bone that they create is not strong bone you need to do weight trainging with a weight vest as that strengthens the whole body, the vest made by NYK is great very sleek nice made for a womans curves too.

  • No one needs anywhere near 2100 mg of calcium.

    What they need is to stop the depletion of calcium (acidic diet and too much protein) and resistance exercises.

    Go Fruit !

  • a hot bath especially with epsom salt (magnesium) will help the pain temporarily without drugs. Also look up Vivian Goldschmidt , M.A. on the internet for serious recovery information.

  • More important is to eat the magnesium in fruit. Alkalizing diets that restore alkaline elements are inversely related with bone disease. Most people consume acidifying diets, gradually demineralizing their bones.

  • Oddler, sugar, corn syrup and carbohydrates that are high on the glycemic index cause osteoporosis.

    Sugar pulls the minerals out of your bones. Your average doctor will tell you - As you age, you lose bone mass and that's the way it is.

    But that's not that way it is in cultures that eat little to no sugar. They have healthy bones all of their lives.
