I read that Scriabin was injured from overuse especially playing Liszt's 'Dante' Sonata

I wonder if performers who play left hand repertoire that can use both hands get frustrated when their right hand is just sitting there and the left is doing all the work! :)

Scriabin wasnt paralyzed with Syphilis! Great playing though

He was.. according to a biography I read on him.. he regained the use of his right hand, but his entire right side was paralyzed.

to my knowledge, his right hand was injured while he was exercising Liszt hungarian rhapsody.

It was balakirev's Islamey. His music is waay harder than anything liszt wrote.
