  • hey thnx for all the tutorials but ur about as sloppy as me watch my vids and ull se what i menan

  • Okay so every comment that flames this video just shows the flamer's incompetence and show their integrity as a person. I am no teacher or great musician by any eon or long shot. But I am a college student who loves music. So before flamming, think about what your saying. Friends don't let friends Flame youtube videos.

  • He wasnt flaming you.

  • dat was cool

  • wow your a big man 31 in your moms basement and your on your computer at youtube watching videos and you go to my video, watch it and say i suck when:

A: you don't have any videos of your own

B: your 31 years old telling a 17 year old struggling musician that I suck.

    obviously you are a loser.

  • Actually I'm 17 as well, but I practice quite diligently and can play a number of more complex pieces with more consistency.

    I'll take a video in a bit.

  • hey rage3337, remember when u sed i wasnt worth shit? well guess what!!!! i have lots of vids and i still c 0 off u!!! hahaha! plus im signed with an idie label! how u like that??? rage, dude a little advice for u, ur a 32 yr old grown man flammin at a 13 yr old. not very cool.....asswhipe

ps GuitarRHCPfan, im not flammin at u. ur a very awesome guitarist.

  • thanks i like your vids keep up the work.

  • no offense but that does suck

  • dude, videos don't mean anything

keep working, take the harsh words and make it better. If you take the constructive personally you will always be a struggling musician, if you listen to it you may get somewhere you knows.

however, you do need work. Also, my turn for the constr. crit. stop acting like an expert!

  • haha struggling musician xD you r maby struggling but no musician

  • how do you screw up Whole Lotta Love?

It's so easy and yet you managed to kill it.

  • is that a dean guitar?

  • Umm, sorry dude but that was pretty bad. It needs alot of work, on a bright side nice guitar. What kind is it? Hope you take this comment as help not rudeness. :(

    Mark

  • wow. how did all this spark out of my video? lol.

  • #3 your number three was redundent rantings

#4 what the hell were you trying to say?-"provide me with something Jimmy Page plays I haven't heard him do already."

try to at least make a bit of sense in your comments.

  • #3 Had one point in it. I'll make it real clear now: You don't seem to know shit about jazz, so I don't care about an average Zeppelin strummer's opinion.

#4 Wasn't horibbly tricky: Send me a video of something Jimmy Page has done that will wow me, and I'll say my apologies.

  • haha more personal attacks? just say whatever makes u feel better i guess...name some "wow" factors of wes's playing...i'm curious as to what a kid of your intelligence level is "wowed" by

  • Okay, let's not change the subject. Show me something impressive Page has done. And let's not bring intelligence into this, that's not neccessary, right?

  • um let's see...began what is considered by many credible musicians to be the greatest rock band ever...went platinum on nine out of nine records...his solos and riffs have been name throughout dozens of publications as the best ever...but you know what...the vast majority of the music world is probably wrong.

  • The popular music world is what credited Page with all of this. The last thing I have to say is when I listened to Rock I sometimes heard good musicians, but when I listened to Jazz I heard amazing musicians, and I played better then I ever did before that. And you can have a fun time replying to that by asking me if I could now play yankee doodle and tune my guitar but I'm just saying what I feel. So have a lovely day.

  • so what you're saying is you can think of none of wes's wow factors?

  • What I was saying was you changed the subject. Wes played with only his thumb and mostly downstrokes but could play very quickly, pioneered the use of octaves in soloing, influenced virtually all jazz guitarists nowadays, regarded by many credible JAZZ musicians as one of the greatest musicians, and I probably missed some.

  • Jimmy Page was a bad guitarist, but you make him seem like Wes Montgomery*, you have such bad timing you're making me twitch.

*Since you most likely haven't heard any real music, Wes Montgomery was one of the ones who actually played so well the electric guitar became recognized as a musical instrument (The reputation was promptly ruined by the people you call musicians from the 80s on).

  • you're very young and naive so your comment is understandable...you've heard older people talk about wes montgomery so you think that you'll sound all smart and mature if u say u like him....reallity is he's just another dime a dozen 60's jazz guitarist...he's a talented guitarist, but nothing special...Jimmy Page had enough talent to play much more than on genre...there never has been or never will be another Jimmy Page

  • #1 Before you go jumping to assumptions about someone you don't know, you should probably think about the fact that you don't know who I am. I really enjoy Wes Montgomery's music, whether you think I like it or not.

#2 If your suggesting Jimmy Page had more feel or technique than Wes Montgomery, I suggest you stay far, far away from a real musician (which you claerly aren't) who actually knows who he is (which you clearly don't).

  • #1 i never said you didn't like wes.

#2 between the two of us i'm the one who's not too insecure to post videos of myself playing music on youtube...so you'll not be going around self-proclaiming yourself to be a musical expert unless u can back it up

  • Oh boy. Before the next time we start responding to the responses of each other lets start using new numbers eh?

#1 "you've heard older people talk about wes montgomery so you think that you'll sound all smart and mature if u say u like him...."

  • #2 Between the two of us I don't own a wonderful computer nor how to upload videos onto it (and thats not an excuse if someone feels the need to teach me I'll do it), and all I was stating was it doesn't take a great musician to read note-for-note transcriptions of a Zeppelin song. Finally anyone who thinks Wes is "another dime a dozen 60's jazz guitarist" clearly doesn't know much about Jazz.

  • #3 If you go around on YouTube telling people younger than you how naive they are about music when you yourself know nothing about music, it makes you look really mature.

If you want to talk about naive, you should consider who Wes Montgomery is compared to who you made him out to be. Wes redefined jazz music, and the day you provide me with something Jimmy Page plays I haven't heard him do already, I will apologize to you, the maker of this video, and Jimmy Page himself.

  • do you have any idea how ignorant you sound right now?

What's wrong with PAGE? i'm quite familiar with jazz music...i took a Jazz band class in high school and i'm currently taking another Jazz band class at UGA.

music died in the 80's...but try to respect one of the greatest hard rock guitarists ever.

  • I agree with you on popular music's shittyness in the 80s.

  • this is really great! "wanna whole lotta love...."
