this really helps but i don't know why my photoshop is being so st*p*t because if you assign a color and click "ok" it wont even show the color that has being assigned and still a gray.

@kaivin88 can you explain why the "thumbnail of preview" wont preview the color i selected but when it comes to black gray or white. it will preview and also assign in the effect.

@kaivin88 It's the MODE of the document, it's set to greyscale. Go to IMAGE --> MODE --> RGB (or CMYK) Color
