in the time of prophet Muhammed PBUH , There were people, called 'Musrikler' . The ones who came in Islam, made trouble in it , (Propoganda) and then left Islam. Those had to be killed, because much people like that were doing that. that is also one of the ways how Shia began. This rule was set up in the hadith .
